Sam's POV

I woke up the next day later than normal. I am glad we decided to skip class today. I was not feeling class, and everything hurts. My arm hurts, I don't know how Colby deals with it all the time. My back hurts, my wrists hurt, and my asshole hurts very bad, I know why these all hurt. I look over and see Colby still passed out, so I sneak out of bed to make lunch. I turn my music on shuffle and start making grilled cheese and soup. I was singing softly to my music and putting grilled cheese on the stove when I felt two strong arms wrapped around my waist. I look over my shoulder to see two piercing blue eyes looking at me. Colby kisses my cheek before saying, "Good afternoon handsome. How did you sleep?" I reach up and touch his cheek before saying, "Good afternoon, to you too. I slept well. How about you?"

"I slept well too. How are you feeling? I know I was a little rough last night. I hope you aren't hurting too much," Colby says to me as he tightens his grip on my waist.

"Well," I start as I flip the grilled cheese to the other side, "My wrists hurt, and my arm hurts pretty bad. My asshole hurts too, for uh obvious reasons."

He pulls up the sleeves of his sweatshirt I am wearing, and he sees bruises and rashes all around my wrists from the rope. He then runs his fingers over the marks up my arm that I created last night. I take the grilled cheese off the burner and put it on the plate. He turns me around to face him, and then he lifts my wrists and places small kisses on them. He then kisses the cuts on my arm before kissing me softly on my lips. "I am so sorry baby. I won't do it again I promise," he says to me.

"No, I loved it, Colby. The bruising will heal. Trust me when I say I would do it 100 times over if you let me. I really enjoyed last night," I say giving him a quick hug before taking the soup off and putting it into bowls for us. We walk over to the small tables and start eating our lunch. We eat in silence for a while as my phone continues to softly play music. I look up when I feel piercing eyes glaring at me. "What?" I giggled to Colby.

"You uh, may want to, uh look at your neck," he stutters to me. I get up and go to the bathroom, turn on the light, and look in the mirror. I let out an audible gasp when I saw the bruises covering my neck. The bruises are shaped exactly like Colby's hand, and I can even make out his fingers. I walk back into the kitchen and see Colby washing the dishes. He turns and smirks at me. I walk over and slap him on the arm. "How the hell am I supposed to cover these?" I semi-yell.

"Not sure. They are hot though. It is almost like I marked my territory. I knew I was rough just didn't think I was that rough." He chuckles without looking up from the dishes.

"You are such an asshole, Colby"

"I know but I am your asshole."

"You're my asshole?" I question to him.

He turns quickly to face me before pushing me up against the counter. "You are mine now Sam. Mine and only mine."

"Does this mean we are dating?"

"Will you be my boyfriend?" he asked me.

"Yes. Yes, I will Colbs."

"Then yes, we are dating, and you are mine." He smashes his lips into mine before lifting me up and putting me on the kitchen counter. We stay in this position for a while making out before he pulls away and extends his hand to me to help me down. I get down and he wraps his arms around me in a tight embrace. "Get dressed, I want to take you on a date. Dress nice," he says to me. I nod and make my way to my room. I fumble through the clothes in my closet for a while before settling on a white short-sleeve button-down, a pair of nice black jeans, and my black vans. I tussle up my hair to make it purposely messy, put on some cologne, and deodorant, and brush my teeth before heading to the living room to wait for Colby. He comes out of his room and looks breathtaking. He has on a long black sleeve button-down, black jeans, black vans, and two chained necklaces around his neck. His hair is messy on purpose, and he smells intoxicating. I choke on my words at first before saying "You look amazing."

"So do you Sammy. You look breathtaking. You ready to go?" I nod my head and with that he takes my hand and leads the way.

Colby's POV

We walked across campus to my car. I unlock the car and open the door for Sam. He blushes and thanks me and I shut the door after he is in. I do a quick jog to my side and get in. I start the car and get some music playing. Sam starts singing along to Stacy's Mom, it is the cutest thing I have ever watched. I glance over at him as he sings passionately pretending his hand is a microphone. I chuckle a little as I watch. I continue to drive as Sam and I continue to sing along to the music. We arrive at our destination and Sam's face lights up. We pulled into Dave and Buster's parking lot, and he started jumping up and down in his seat. He quickly unbuckled his seatbelt and reaches for the door before I say, "Um, no, what are you doing?" He looks at me confused before I continue, "I open your door. I am a gentleman after all." He laughs as I get out of the car and make my way to his side. I open his door and extend my hand for him. He takes it and we walk inside.

When we got inside Sam insisted, we immediately go and play games, so I took us to the card machine to get our play cards and bought two of them. Sam grabbed one and booked it towards to Ski Ball machines. I chuckled at his enthusiasm while I tried to keep up with him. We made it to the machines and we both swiped our cards. I don't know how, but Sam was amazing at Ski Ball, only missing one ball from going into the 10,000 point hole. He ended up setting the new record and I just watched in amazement. "Look Colbs, I broke the record," he giggles pointing up to the machine.

"That is impressive Sam. How did you get so good at Ski Ball?" I ask as I roll my last ball down the lane missing all the holes. He laughs at my miserable attempt at Ski Ball before saying "I used to go to the arcade near my house every Friday after school and I would always just play Ski Ball, so I got really good at it."

"You really went to the arcade once a week. I couldn't tell you the last time I went to an arcade before today. That's cool though. Did you go with like friends or family or something?" I ask him as I take his hand and walk us towards other machines.

"No. I normally went by myself. I didn't really have friends growing up. I only really got a friend after I started dating my ex. She introduced me to her friends, and we all became close. After we broke up, I stopped talking to them all, so I was alone again," he says as he plays with the rings on my finger.

"I am so sorry Sam. I didn't know."

"It's okay Colby, I have you now, so everything is okay."

---------------------------

We played games for a while before Sam told me his was getting hungry again. It was close to dinner time, so we decided to cash in our points. Sam wanted a giant stuffed bear, so I gave him my points and he got the bear. After getting his prize, we walked back to the car. Sam put the bear in the backseat as I opened the door for him. He thanked me softly before getting into the car. I shut the door and went to my side. I started the car and backed out of the parking spot. Sam put on some music, and we softly sang along while my hand rested on his thigh. I drove for a little while before arriving at the restaurant. It was a nice Italian place that I had been looking up for a couple of days now. Sam and I walked hand in hand inside and we went to the host stand. Sam didn't know but I already made a reservation for outside. The host walked us to our table which was outside under dozens of string lights, there were candles all on the table, and a bouquet of flowers were on the table with Sam's name on them.

"What is all this Colby?" Sam asked with tears in his eyes.

"Well, I was gonna ask you to be my boyfriend here, but I couldn't wait, but this is also my apology for scaring you yesterday. I am sorry for hurting you the way I did, and I want to get better. For you."

Sam lets a tear run down his face as I gently use my thumb to wipe it away. "I love you, Colby."

"I love you too, Sammy." I say leaning over the table and kissing him gently. I never knew I could love one man so much, but I guess life is a funny thing after all.
