APPEARANCE ─

With shimmering golden scales, these dragons are impossible to miss. This is intentional, as they often serve as a symbol of power and wealth, and as a warning. They have hard golden scales and muscular bodies. They are build for combat and defense. Many families adorn them in jewelry to add to their already majestic and opulent appearance. It's also common practice to add additional gold or jewel spikes, to make them even more deadly.

ABILITIES ─

They have sharp scales all along their tail, that can be used to bludgeon or slice. Their tough scales serve as a difficult barrier to break through when trying to do any damage to them. They have large claws on their talons, hard and sharp as diamonds. Also being bred for hunting, they have an incredible senses of smell, hearing and sight, their eyes being able to cut through the glare like an eagle's.

TEMPERMENT ─

Born and bred to defend the cities and noble houses of the nation. The most domesticated of any kind of dragon, Golds are some of the most loyal and defensive of all dragons. They are the easiest to train for specific tasks and have incredible patience and drive. Once they have an objective, they are locked onto it. This makes ones trained to track and kill especially scary, which makes them a favorite for illegal bounty hunters. An egg is very difficult to acquire though, as they are heavily guarded by the royal family themselves. Legacy pairs are a common occurrence, where multiple dragons from the same line choose humans from the same family. They are most likely to choose high-ranking individuals.
