"Oh... it's fine.. just a typical home life..." You lied, hoping they wouldn't notice. Bonnet looked at you with suspicion. She didn't believe you, nor did Lolbit.

Their ears twitched, as well as their tail. The small white dot in their eyes dimmed. "Don't lie, Y/N.."

"I'm not! My life at home is fine! Perfect, even!"

A soft, almost unnoticeable glare was given from Lolbit. Their tail fell against the floor and rested, ears falling going upward. "No one's life is 'perfect', don't try to hide anything. Besides, who'd believe us anyway?"

"Well... I'm fine.. my family is fine.. nothing is.. insanely wrong," you scratched the back on your neck nervously. Suddenly, Lolbit was standing and holding your face in their hands.

The whites in their eyes almost stopped glowing entirely. A serious look upon their face. "Y/N, I won't force you to say anything, but don't lie. Not to me, not to Bonnet. To the others, I don't care.. but not to us."

"U-uhm... well.. it's not the best life, but it's maintainable," You placed your hands on the multicolored fox's hands, trying to remove them, but ultimately failed due to them being metal. "Besides.. I'm used to what happens, roughly 20 years of ab– I mean... I– ignore that..." You turned your gaze away as you felt your breathing pick up slightly.

Neither of the animatronics said anything else. Lolbit removed their hands, although you kept your hold on the back of the hands. For some reason, letting go wasn't something you wanted to do. Although you knew you had to, since... it was nearly 6... roughly 4:54.

"N.... y/n.... Y/N!" Lolbit's loud voice saying your name snapped you out of the thoughts you were having.

"Huh?"

"Are you planning on letting go of my hands... or..?" The multicolored fox kept glancing down at their hands. They didn't seem bothered by your hands, but the intense staring you were doing, unknowingly, didn't seem all too well..

"O-Oh!" You then removed your hands, placing them in your pockets as you nervously laughed again, something you do often. So often, people think it's your real laugh.

Bonnet giggled at your face as it slowly grew more red from embarrassment. This made you reach down to her height and patted her head, making her ears fall back against her head. Taking this embarrassed state of hers, you then booped her nose. A small laugh leaves your mouth.

As you lightly laughed, Lolbit felt their tail wag. This time, their ears also lightly moved up and down in the respective socket. If you were looking at their eyes, you'd seen the small lights in their eyes have formed hearts.

Damn... they really had fallen for a mortal being... for you.... but you'd die. They knew that. Everyone knew that. Death was always going to happen, in one way or another.

"Well..." You began as you stood up, Bonnet rubbing her nose as she tried to make it squeak like you did earlier. But, she couldn't.  "I suppose I should go home..."

"See you tomorrow?" Lolbit asked with a soft tilt of the head. They looked really upset seeing you go, but they knew it had to happen eventually.

You nodded, "Yeah, Lolbit, I'll see you tomorrow for sure." A soft smile formed upon your lips. You then crouched down to crawl into the vent, but before you did, you turned around and pressed Bonnets nose. Then you realized you've never given the glitchy fox a goodbye before you left.

So! You stood back up and walked to them. You then reached up and scratched the back of their head, behind the ears. Their tail had begun to wag subtly.

"Bye, you two!" You said happily as you crawled through the vent. It was cramped, but you've gotten used to it after the two days you've been there.

When you left, the two talked again...

"You're insanely obvious with loving them, you know," Bonnet teased her fox friend. She had a silly look on her face as she began to mock the movements the fox made.

"S-S-S-Shut U-U-Up!" Lolbit glitched in pure embarrassment. They covered their face with their hands as their ears and tail twitched.

"HAH! You're glitching! And~ you're blushing!~" she teased as she pressed her padded paws against the fox's left leg, kind of like poking.

Lolbit's tail wrapped around their body as an embarrassed act. They refused to do anything to the small animatronic hand puppet, but they wished they could shut her up... thankfully, you weren't there to hear the teasing. You were in the elevator.

In the elevator, heading home. Home to protect your siblings. Home to stop your parents from hurting your siblings... home.. a place you despised going to every night. But... it was a place you needed to go to...
