"So you guys haven't talked?" Mani questioned and I shook my head no. "No and I don't want to talk to him if its no about our son" I assured her.
I know what you're thinking, NO we are not in good terms. She came over here to get a jacket that she left and we just started talking. No matter what, I love Mani to death....I just can't trust her no.
"You and Kentrell are very off and on...I saw, do whatever feels best to you. What happened to that guy you met at the club?"
"Scar?" I questioned and Mani nodded. "Oh, he text me sometimes....I don't know I guess I've just been so busy and he lives in Maryland."
"Well...you're single" Mani shrugged before standing up. "Where you going?"
"I have to get back home, I feel awful and I also know that you haven't forgiven me for the shit that happened so I don't want to overstay my welcome. Bye Kas"
"Bye" I mumbled before Mani left the house and I stood up before locking the door.
I sat back down on the couch and took a breath before pulling out my phone.
"I guess one text couldn't hurt" I mumbled to myself before texting Scar.

Scar: Wassup beautiful
Kassidy from the club😍: How are you?
Scar: call me I'm tired of this texting shii🤣
I chuckled before Scar started to FaceTime me and I answered, "Heyyy" I dragged. "Wassup beautiful" Scar licked his lips. "How are you?"
"Good, what you been up to? I haven't heard from you in a little minute." Scar licked his lips and I chuckled. "I know I've been busy" I explained. "Too busy for me?" Scar smiled causing me to smile a little. "Never that"
"When you coming to Morgan?"
"About that... they took bacl my acceptance" I slightly rolled my eyes. "Because of the fight and shit?"
"Yeah but I'm gonna go next year so it doesn't matter" I shook my head. "How's Malakai?"
'Good, he's with his father right now" I nodded. "Well, I wanna see you."
"Really?" I asked in confusion and Scar nodded. "Yeah, where you stay at again?"
"Cali" I said before standing up and walking into the kitchen, "Bet, I can get a flight booked this weekend, I just gotta find a hotel" Scar explained and I nodded before grabbing a bottle of water.
"Okay, you don't have to get a hotel though, you can stay here" I explained, "I thought you stayed with yo aunt."
"I do but she's going to Miami with a few of her friends."
"Damn you got a lit auntie" Scar laughed, "We almost the same age" I chuckled, "Bet so ima get the plans settled and Ima text you later today."
"Okay! Be safe"
"You too beautiful" Scar licked his lips before hanging up and I smiled to myself.
I guess it is time to get my focus off of Kentrell.

NBA Youngboy's POV:
"Wea Kas at?" Kd walked into the living room. "I don't know, probably at home" I said with Malakai sitting on my lap and I scrolled on my phone. "Wassup lil man" Kd sat beside me and grabbed Malakai.
"Niggas bored as shit, y'all tryna roll up?" Ben walked into the room. "Nah, I'm finna go over Aubrey shit."
"Nigga she don't like you" KD laughed and I mugged him. "Why you even going over there?" Ben questioned and I gave him a duh look. "I wanna apologize, she ain't finna keep me from my kid" I explained.
"I don't think she wants an apology" Kd laughed before there was a knock on the door. I walked over and opened it before Babyjoe walked in mad as hell.
"What's wrong with you?"
"Man, my girl trippin" he sat on the couch before Malakai started to whine. "What do you want?"
"Food" he pouted. "Okay well use your words, I told you about that shit" I explained before picking Malakai up and we walked into the kitchen.
After a few hours, we were all at the studio before Kd started watching Kassidy's live and she let some nigga join. "Hey pookie" she smiled.
"wassup, you ready for this weekend?"
"Of course, I got your room ready" she smiled, and he laughed. "I love that energy beautiful. I got a surprise for you though."
"Okay what is it?"
"You gon see when I get there" the guy smiled, "yo who is that nigga?" I mugged Kd before Kd went to the guys profile.
"Some nigga named Scar, I think he from Maryland" Kd shrugged and I sucked my teeth. "I'm not even surprised, ha ass always been friendly."
"You sound insecure" Babyjoe laughed and I shot him a cold mug. "Nigga don't speak on me and mines" I warned and he nodded before saga ding up and leaving the studio.
"Really?" Three mugged me. "That nigga was all over MY girl at one point and now he wanna call me insecure" I defended myself while Three just shook his head and I handed Malakai to Ben.
"I needa smoke" I mumbled before leaving the studio.
