"So you're staying longer?" I questioned and Scar nodded while I smiled. "Only a two more days because I gotta go back to work."
"Well I'm still glad you came, maybe Malakai and I could visits Maryland...if you want of course."
"I would love that baby girl" Scar kissed the top of my head."Remind me though, why we going to this niggas birthday party?"
"His mom invited me" I rolled my eyes. "He's my baby father so of course I have to go but that doesn't mean we'll be there long. You can stay here if you want."
"Nah I'm coming" Scar smiled. "Boy why you looking like that?"
"Nothing, you look good though" he licked his lips before I picked Malakai up off of the couch. "John" he held his arms out and I rolled my eyes before handing him to Scar.
"Lil man likes me better" Scar grinned. "I'm sure he does" I rolled my eyes. "His lil had ass is spoiled."
"His momma spoiled him."
"Yeah and my aunt...shit we're late as hell. You ready?" I questioned and Scar nodded before we left the house.
Once we got to Kentrell's house, I knocked on the door and Sherhonda opened it. "Finally" she rolled her eyes before pulling me into a hug.
I chuckled before Scar and I walked into the house. "Who is this?" She pointed at Scar who was holding Malakai. "This is Scar, he's my...."
"Friend, for now" Scar smirked and I chuckled. "Ouu well boy you is handsome but let me get my grandson before my son have a fit" Sherhonda said before taking Malakai. "You hungry?" She asked and Malakai nodded.
"Lil man always hungry" Scar joked and I nodded before Sherhonda walked away.
I looked around before seeing Jania and I smiled. "Come on" I grabbed Scar's hand before we walked over to Jania who was talking to Iyanna.
"Not this crazy bitch" I mumbled. "I heard that" Iyanna turned and mugged me. "Good" I blew her a kiss. "Hey baby" Jania smiled before pulling me into a hug.
"Girl what you doing here? I wouldn't expect to see you here."
"I just came to drop Kacey off, my man and I going out tonight" Jania smiled and I nodded. "Love that for you, by the way this is Scar. Scar this is Kentrell's baby mother Jania and Iyanna Mayweather."
"Kentrell's other baby mother" Iyanna chimed in while I rolled my eyes. "Good to meet y'all" Scar mumbled. "Aww he shy?" Jania chuckled before I heard someone yell "Aubrey!"
I turned around and saw the girl that is claiming she got herpes from Kentrell and she's pregnant.
I rolled my eyes and Jania chuckled. "Hm?" I questioned. "Aubrey has always....been a drama Queen. She likes attention."
"How old is she?"
"Twenty-four" Jania shrugged. "She's beautiful but she's a businesswoman and she never been one to deal with Kentrell's shit."
"So what are you trying to say?"
"I think there's a motive to why she decided to show back up" Jania shrugged. "Damn, you a whole ass investigator" Scar laughed and Jania chuckled. "Look y'all I'm about to go and-"
"Heyy Jania!" Aubrey walked over and smiled. "Oh...hey girl" Jania gave a fake smile with Aubrey gave her a side hug. "What are you doing here?"
"Sherhonda invited me" Aubrey smiled. "Of course, she did" I mumbled while Scar tightened his grip a little on my hand. "Oh...Kassidy, right?"
"Mhm" I hummed in response. "Nice to see you again. Look I hope you're not mad about the way we met. I had no idea you would be sleeping over Kentrell's house...I see you got a replacement pretty quick though" she smirked at Scar, and I chuckled.
"Okay um, let's just get one thing clear, I wasn't sleeping over Kentrell's house. I was over there because he's my son's father and whoever I'm here with is none of your concern, so go find Kentrell and ride his dick and hop off of mines" I ranted while Aubrey laughed.
"You know that's why Kentrell would have never married, you right? You're too ghetto" Aubrey looked at me in disgust. "Aubrey?" I heard Kentrell's voice. We all turned around seeing him holding Kacey while Sherhonda smiled holding Malakai.
"Girl you know nothing about me" I waved Aubrey off. "You sure? Little girl EVERYBODY knows about you. It was a matter of time before he dumped you" Aubrey shook her head with a smile.
"That's the lie he fed you?" I smiled, "he dumped me? Wow Kentrell, that's pathetic" I shook my head before walking over to Sherhonda and taking my son.
"Since I'm so ghetto and nobody wants me around, my ghetto ass can leave with my NEW man. You ready?" I faced Scar and he nodded.
"Watch your back" I heard Aubrey mumbled and I shook my head with a smile.
"Enjoy your pathetic ass party, these people don't even fuck with you" I chuckled while Kentrell mugged and we left the party.
