I stood frozen at the sudden coldness in her demeanor.
"My love?" I called to her " is everything ok?"
Without saying a word she gathers herself and leave and to which I attentively follow pleading that she answers me.
She had a slight limp while she walked because of our previous activity so I was able to stay caught up with her
She had limped her way around the house and into our bedroom where she stood facing away from me not daring to look at my worried gaze.
"What do you want" she forced out her voice hash and cold, filled with forced hatred.
"Look me in the eye and tell me what's wrong." I demand. This tantrum has run on long enough and it was going to be put to an end. "Now"
I could see she had gotten chills from my sudden demand.
She hesitantly turns around, tear filled eyes and red face.
"I'm not stupid-" she began
"I'm aware" I interjected knowing exactly what she was implying
" I know why I'm here, Thoren"
The room was silent as the silent battle raged on. I walked to her slowly as not to intimidate or scare her.
"You just need something to bear you children, cook, and clean" she said just above a whisper casting her head down and away from my gaze.
"How many times must I prove my love to you? How many time do I have to prove my devotion?" I sank to my knees just wanting to see her eyes again.
"My love you have my whole life and more. Anything you want you can have, it's all yours, you know that "
"You spent the whole day upset at me, the only thing that worked was getting you off" she frowned
I let off a relieved chuckle.
"So just another misunderstanding" i lightly joked
The air in the room seemed to be 20 pounds lighter.
"I wasn't upset with you, just myself"
Her Amber eyes popped open looking at me.
"My breeding cycle is approaching and i was fearful that I'd hurt you. Telling you would've been a better solution then avoiding you, I apologize "
"Me too" she chirped
"You have nothing apologize for, you tried to speak but i shut you out."
"No, for this" she said before cracking me in the middle of my forehead with her fist "Don't scare me like that" she whined
Playfully i fell back laying on the wooden floor.
"I'll try my best" i teased
We only had the rest of our lives together to stress each other out.
"You are so much more then just what you can do for me, it's who you are that i love "
I see a smile form on her face as she comes over to embrace me on the floor.
Our scarcely covered bodies by huddled tight, fitting together perfectly.
