The scheme, so far, had worked. Every embrace, look and kiss they shared was despised by Gabriella. Tory was in hiding from torment and shame - which meant that Sharpay was basking in her glory.

"Oh my God, Ry! It actually worked! I mean, I knew it would, 'cause I know my own brilliance, but..." She shrugged while maintaining a disgusting smirk.

"You do know that -" He went to speak, but his sister strangled him by the throat.

"Shut. Up. No one wants to know what you have to say." He pulled her hand away from him.

"This is unfair!" His voice rose to a shout. "You need to think of other people! For once actually think of someone other than yourself!!" Sharpay paused for a moment.

"Well, yea-huh! They'll appreciate it. How does my hair look today?" She obviously didn't get it.

The flight for Austria left in twenty hours. They had hidden Troy's ticket.

Time and time again, Gabriella tried to confront him and inform him of the fact that this was the case, but he just turned away and didn't listen. She wished that he would love her like he did before.... He doesn't now.

Five hours passed. The anxiety and tension grew between them. The love they once shared seemed to be ripped apart. Tears fell down Gabriella's face as the time was quickly running out. How could she prove that all that Sharpay had said was a lie? How could she show that this was all a scheme?

Three hours. Two.

Her heels nervously clicked as she waited for Troy to appear. Why, why, why??

She checked her watch. Half an hour until the flight left. About thirty five minutes until they were supposed to board.

She sighed. He wasn't going to be there.

She stepped onto the plane and tears once again formed in her eyes and misted her sight.
