Jason comforted his little sister the car ride home, they had left Berkley with Gemma so she could spend some time with her and Abel.
"What's going on? Jax cant be the only reason you're leaving the club?" He was worried.
She bit her nails and didn't say anything.
"I just-" she took a deep breath.
"I don't feel valued enough anymore. I don't even know what the club is doing as far as business goes. And they just look at me like I'm going to break."
Ever since her episodes started, everyone treated her like she was a bomb about to go off. They wouldn't tell her things because they "didn't want to stress her out too much". She just felt pitiful.
"I'm sorry" was all he could say.
He was one of three people who didn't treat her differently so he wouldn't understand how she felt. She tried to explain it to her therapist but she just said that was her anxiety and her mind telling her she wasn't worth it. She never went back to the therapist after that.
"Atleast Gemma doesn't treat you differently," Jason added.
Alison nodded in agreement, Gemma still treated her as if she was the same teenager that basically lived at her house.
"The worst part is, Jax is looking at me the same way everyone else does. It's like he's scared to set me off."
Jason gritted his teeth. The last thing he wanted to be thinking about was how Jax was treating his sister.
"Well Jax is Jax. We both know commitment isn't his strong suit." That again was true and Alison just shrugged.
The rest of the car ride was fine, Jason got a few chuckles out of her.
Then he made them dinner, let her shower, and had her pick a movie.

"I miss Abel," Berkley said, she was watching Gemma feed him.
"I wish mommy and Jax weren't fighting."
Gemma frowned.
"There's no need to worry about that honey,"
Berkley nodded, climbing onto the couch and sitting next to Gemma.
"Im glad you're my grandma" she said, snuggling up next to her.
"Me too baby." Gemma smiled, she loved being grandma.
Soon Clay came home, looking tired and annoyed but it all went away when he saw Berkley.
"There's my girl!" He said, setting down his keys on the table.
"Hi grandpa!" Clay smiled and sat on the couch with them.
"Where's Jax?" Gemma asked, he was supposed to come get Abel.
"Going to talk to Alison. Work that shit out," Clay ruffled Berkley's hair as she giggled.
————————
A knock on the door ruined the best part of the movie.
Alison laughed as her brother frowned because she had to pause it.
"I'll be right back!" She called, laughing to herself before she opened the door.
"Hey." It was Jax.
She didn't know what to say or do.
"Can we talk?"
"Al who is it?"
