After four days in the hospital, Alison was released under the conditions she was under 24:7 supervision. Chibbs was still unconscious and would be until the swelling in his brain went down.

When Alison woke up she was confused, asking about her dad and even Jax's dad. She was blabbering about graduation which was the last time she was with her father. Jax was concerned, had she seriously lost almost 15 years of memory?

The doctors explained that she may have some short-term memory issues but with how lucky she was her memory couldn't have been damaged that badly.

She felt like she was in a daze, a bubble. That everything was under water. She didn't feel like she was there.

First, it was just because she was in the hospital and had nothing but white walls to look at. But now that she was home, she would stare off at the wall while holding Abel who was screaming his head off.

She didn't become neglectful, if anything she was more cautious. Even when she was zoned out like that she was taking care of him as if she was programmed to do so. Of course, Gemma and Jax, or sometimes Jason were always right by her side in case something did happen.

Berkeley was staying with Gemma while Jax and Jason took turns watching Alison at Jax's house.

Everyone agreed that Berkeley shouldn't be here right now given how out of it Alison is. Gemma offered to take Abel too but Jax told her to give Alison a day with the boy.

Alison refused to leave the baby's side since she got to Jax's house. She also didn't say a word, just going about her day as if nothing happened. Jax and Jason's words going in one ear and out the other.

"Ali," Jax took a seat next to her on the couch. She was soothing Abel all while staring at the wall in front of her, baby photos of Jax and his brother and other family photos on display.

He had a plate of food for her to eat, broccoli soup and some bread with a glass of water.

Jax was trying to trade the food for the baby so he could go put him in his crib. But no response and she just looked down at Abel.

"Alison," Jax tried again, this time she looked at him like she just woke up.

"What?" She asked, searching his face for any clue as to what happened.

"You completely zoned out again, Abel was screaming for ten minutes," Alison's brows squished together.

"He was?"

Jax nodded his head, asking to have Abel so he could go to bed. He told her that then he would come back and help her get in bed.

He told her to start eating but she shook her head and took a sip of her water. She wasn't hungry, just tired and in pain.

Her mind started to fill with all these worse-case scenarios. What if she had dropped him and not realized it? What if she doesn't hear him in his room?

Suddenly she felt so guilty, that she couldn't take care of Abel or Berkeley. She was in no condition to do anything.

Her eyes started watering and she just pulled her knees up to her chest.

Jax frowned as he walked back into the living room. He didn't like seeing her upset, he wanted to take away all her pain and carry it for her.

"Baby it's okay," he said, pulling her into his arms.

"What if I hurt him?" She said, between sniffles as she tried not to cry.

"It's okay, you wouldn't hurt him." He kissed the top of her head.

"You don't know that." she curled into a ball, resting her head on Jax's leg.

"I wouldn't let you. I know how much the kids mean to you. I would never put you in a position where you might lose them."

She knew he was right. She loved both kids to death and she wouldn't know how to live with herself if anything happened.

"I love you," she said, sitting up and looking at Jax.

He smiled, whipping under her eyes and cupping her face.

"I love you." He said, leaning over and giving her a soft kiss.

She misses him so much, she finally feels like she's back in her body as he kisses her. Her eyes squeezed shut and she wanted to cry.

"We're going to be okay," Jax tells her, pulling her up more into his lap.

He flips through different TV show channels to find something to watch. Stopping on some old re-runs of Friends.

He holds her, playing with her hair and rubbing her back. Kissing every inch of her shoulder that he could, telling her he loved her and that everything would be okay.

She fell asleep in his arms, a smile on her face from the chills she got. Jax's hair tickled her after every kiss and his words were being gently placed into her shoulder and her mind where they both knew she wouldn't forget them.

Jax was always really good and comforting people, especially her. It seemed silly but it worked, whenever he told her things that way she always believed him. They would be fine, Chibbs would come home, the kids would come back, and Alison will be okay.

She knew once she was better she was joining the club again. She was going to protect her family and her kids.

Because no one sends a bomb to T&M and gets away with it. Especially when her kids are there.

"Grandma," Berkeley said, looking up from the tv.

"Yes, baby?" She replied, brushing Berkley's hair out of her face.

"Is momma going to be okay?" Gemma smiled softly.

"Of course she is, she just needs some time to get better. Jax and Jason are taking great care of her,"

"Why did Abel get to stay? Does she love him more than me?"

"Oh honey of course not," Gemma pulled Berkeley into her lap.

"She didn't want you to see her sick. She is supposed to take care of you, not make you worry. Abel is so young that he won't remember her being hurt. Tomorrow morning Jax is bringing Abel over here and you'll both be staying with me for a few weeks."

Berkeley nodded her head, "Can we make her a card? Like I did with Uncle Chibbs?"

"That sounds like a perfect idea sweetheart."

"I love you, grandma."

"I love you more"
