Just as Jason had promised, he got to Alison's house before she even woke up. Her used the spare key he had to get in the house, not wanting to wake his sister.

He let her sleep in, he knew she needed it. So when Berkley woke up, he fed her and get her dressed and ready for the day.

They spent a good few hours together, reading and coloring. Then around noon Alison came out.

She was dressed in baggy sweat pants and a large hoodie. Her hair was thrown up and she honestly looked like shit.

"Look who's here!" Berkley said, smiling from ear to ear in her uncles lap.

Alison plopped down on the couch and leaned on her brother. "Thank you."

He nodded, sending Berkley off to get another book so they some time to talk.

"I'm going to tell the club I want out." Jason was honestly confused, the club meant everything to her.

"What happened?" He asked.

"It's ruining my health, I have Berkley to look after now. And with Jax-"

"What happened with Jax?"

"It just felt like we where playing house. He acts all lovey once second then he's all buddy buddy with Tara. It's like high-school all over again and I just cant do it. I cant keep being the person he runs back to when he pushes everyone away."

Jason nodded, he knew how much his sister loved Jax. He remembers those nights where she cried into his arms because Jax didn't love her back.

It didn't help that Tara was back in the picture.

"Why did Tara even come back?"

Alison shrugged, she didn't know why and she didn't care to ask.

"I just really need my big brother right now."

It didn't take long for the three of them to head over to the clubhouse. She still looked like hell, she didn't care anymore. She needed a break.

"All the guys here?" Alison asked, she stopped by Gemma's office first.

"They're in church now, just head in." Gemma knew there was no talking her out of this.

Gemma knew that Alison was a grown woman who could handle things on her own. And to be honest, she was starting to worry that the club was getting to be too much for her.

"Watch Berkley for me? I'm bringing Jason in with me."

Gemma agreed and then the two adults walked into the club house.

They stood outside the door for a few minutes before she got the courage to open the door.

At first there was some yelling and cursing but once they knew it was her they quieted down.

"I need to talk to you guys." She said. They didn't really say a word.

They all looked at her with worry in their eyes but Jax couldn't even look at her. Not when he knew the cause of her pain was him.

"What's on your mind honey?" Tig asked.

Jason held her hand and let her know it was okay.

"I want to take a leave from the club." There where a few gaps.

It was shocking and honestly out of character.

"Can I ask why?" Clay asked, he truly cared for Alison as if she was his own.

"Due to recent events I need to focus on my family. I have a daughter now and I think it's best if I focus on her and me for a while..."

The guys nodded their heads.

"Got anything to say Jax?" Jason asked, Alison whispered to him to stop.

"He's not even supposed to be in here right now." Jax snipped.

Alison's eyes started to water, the coldness of Jax's voice broke her heart even more.

"I need the club to vote me out. Maybe in a year we can try it again but-"

"It's either you're in or you're out. We aren't going to keep bouncing back and forth with you on this." Jax said.

"Jax..." Chibbs said, he was trying to get the VP to reason with her.

"If that's what you want that's what we will do. All I'm favor?" Clay asked.

"Anything you need baby, let me know" Tig was the first to agree.

Then the rest of the guys followed in suit, giving her words of encouragement and letting her know they still loved her.

Jax passed, of course he did.

"Majority rules. You take care of yourself and that girl of yours. You're always welcome here," Alison nodded, thanking Clay and the others.

She glanced at Jax and saw how red and angry his knuckles where. She saw how distraught he looked and she just wanted to hold him and let him know it was okay. Before she knew it Jason was dragging her out and she had started crying.

This was so childish of her.

Once she and Jason left all eyes where on Jax.

"What the fuck did you do?" Piney asked.

"It's none of your business old man."

"Well whatever it was, you need to fix it. She was so close to being patched in." Clay said.

"I'm not the one who voted her out!" Jax had raised his voice and the guys knew there must've been a big falling out to cause her to leave.

Especially when they knew how hard she fought for a seat at the table and how hard she worked to be respected.

"You're all so god damn nosey! Fine!" Jax took a breath.

"When I came home last night she was packing her bags. Said she was going home and that she didn't want to play house anymore. She's pissed off at Tara about shit that happened in high-school."

The room was quiet.

"You're a fucking idiot. That girl loves you Jackson!" Tig said, standing and defending her.

"She has loved you since day one. She was there for everything! Even after Tara. So I can see why when the good doctor came back to town and you where balls deep, why she got so upset!"

"Tig!" Clay warned, this was a bunch of childish shit. He didn't want to hear about this right now, they had bigger things to worry about.

"No. I'm not going to let him break her heart again! Not after everything she has done for the club and for you."

"You need to fix this before you don't get the chance to anymore."

Tig stormed off, angry at how blind and stupid his brother is. How could he not see it? She thought the world of him, defended him, fought for him.
