"I stepped on one." Hana said as she walked up to the dining table.

Motak had just come back from the police station and made a groan of annoyance at Hana's words.

"Seriously right now! Do I have to go? What level is it?" Motak said in quick succession as he leaned back in his chair.

Ms. Chu gave him a light slap on the back of his head for his commentary and gave a disapproving look at Jeok-bong.

Jeok-bong had been out all afternoon doing some light errands for Ms. Chu since So Mun woke up late. He also had a matching look of annoyance at the thought of having to fight an evil spirit, but Ms. Chu's look made him wince.

"It's a level three. So yes, we do all have to go." Hana exclaimed as she gave a quick glance at So Mun.

They hadn't talked since that moment in her room, and she would like to keep it that way. She had no idea what she was thinking when she decided to stare at his lips.

She was mad at him. She hated being left in the dark and was anxious to know what the evil spirit said to him. But she knew him. A little too well. He wasn't going to tell her anything unless he wanted to.

"Ahjussi, I can handle it just fine. There's no need for all of us to go." So Mun said nonchalantly.

All the Counters gave each other a look.

Ever since he fought with Ma Juseok, So Mun had started to take on more responsibilities for himself. The other Counters swore they would never let So Mun feel like he had to do anything by himself.

"No, no we'll all go, So Mun." Motak exclaimed in a hurry, already getting up from his chair and pulling on his sweatshirt.

The rest of the Counters all got up and started piling into the car.

After driving for 20 minutes, they arrived at an abandoned warehouse. Hana could only see flashes of a young man carrying a girl into the warehouse before the young man disappeared from her view.

So Mun had summoned the territory while the others watched as it covered the whole warehouse in colorful light. They had all been working on improving their skills in case another complete evil spirit decided to rear its head.

So Mun especially had been working on adjusting his territory to fit their needs. So far, he improved on widening his range to make it easier for them to find evil spirits.

Immediately afterwards, Hana felt not just one evil spirit but three of them. Two of the evil spirits were at level two, while the other was the level three, she originally saw.

After telling the counters what she saw, they decided to split up to fight the evil spirits. They all quickly ran up the staircase and found themselves in a dark room.

Suddenly, the lights flickered on, and they saw a fist fly towards So Mun's face.

Before it could land, So Mun dodged the blow and used his telekinesis to send the evil spirit sprawling back.

All of them looked at each other and gave a quick nod of understanding before they set off after the other spirits.

Motak went after one of the level two spirits, while Hana and Jeok-bong went after the other one.

Mun continued his fight with the level three that got back up from his earlier attack. The young woman Hana saw earlier was laid out, unconscious, on the ground, leaving Ms. Chu to go check on her.

They all seemed to be holding them off pretty well. Motak had sent a flurry of punches at the spirit while dodging any counter attacks. Hana and Jeokbong were easily parrying off each other as they continuously hit and kicked at the other spirit.
