"Good morning," I hear Karlie yawn, walking into the kitchen where I am making coffee. I woke up pretty early this morning, using my spare time to answer work-related texts and emails. Karlie was sleeping so peacefully, that I decided not to wake her.
"Hey, beautiful," I look to her, smiling. She still looks perfect, even when she just wakes up. I make my way over to her, pressing a kiss to her cheek and handing her a cup of coffee.
"Thank you," she smiles, her eyes lighting up, "How long have you been up?" She questions, sipping on her coffee.
"Not for too long, I just had a few things to do for work," I shrug, "Why don't you have a piano?" I question. I looked everywhere, and I can't find one.
"Taylor," she laughs, "I have no need for a piano," she shakes her head at me, and I will say I am genuinely surprised. I always have one a few feet away from me, even in my room.
"That is so weird, you need to have a piano, or keyboard, or something," I complain, genuinely surprised that there isn't one at all.
"Why do I need one?" She questions now, seeming confused.
"Because I really need a piano," I tell her, rolling my eyes, "You are going to have to strictly stay at my house," I shrug, informing her. I never know when inspiration will strike.
"Because I don't have a piano?" She asks, rolling her eyes now, "You are so weird, it's too early in the morning to be complaining that I don't have a piano," she takes another sip of her coffee.
"Would you rather have had me wake you up at 3am to ask about the piano?" I question her sarcastically, deciding to take a sip of my coffee as well, leaning against her kitchen counter.
"Why the hell did you need it at 3am?" She walks over to me, leaning against the counter as well, "Never mind about that," she shakes her head once more, "I see you found something to wear," she looks me up and down, teasingly.
"I shamelessly went through your clothes earlier, I figured you wouldn't mind too much," I admit, though I have no remorse or embarrassment about it. Karlie is still in a robe, which tells me she has yet to put anything on.
"They look better on you anyway," she presses a sweet kiss to my cheek, making me smile, "I thought you must have left this morning,"
"Karlie," I say sternly, "I'm not like that. If I had to leave, I would have woken you," I tell her, my voice is as serious as I can make it, "I only left that night because I had to. I would have ruined Selena's release party. I didn't want to," I set my coffee down on the counter and wrap my arms around her waist, "I was so worried about ruining her party, that I ruined your night-"
"-I like you. I like you a ton, Taylor," she wraps her arms around me too, hugging me. Our bodies fit together perfectly, "I like you way more than I should," she admits. I pull away from her just enough to look into her green eyes.
"I really like you," I confess as well, "I like you more than I anticipated," I press a light kiss to her lips, "I don't want you to always think of me as leaving," I sigh, frustrated with myself.
"I'm sorry for assuming, I know you have to be a busy woman," she clarifies, "I should have just texted you that night," she pulls me closer to her again, and I rest my head on her shoulder.
"You did keep me on the edge of my seat," I admit, "I was checking my phone constantly," I laugh a little bit, and she laughs along with me.
"So, you really do have a thing for me?" She smirks, teasing me.
"Shut up," I roll my eyes, though my phone starts to ring. I move to pick it up off of the counter I left it on, seeing Selena's name on the screen, "She doesn't know I am here, right?" I ask Karlie before answering the call.
