The trip back to Qing Jing was silent and uncomfortable, no one said a word, except for Ming Fan who complained about not being able to see the Skinner Demon. It would've been way more peaceful if he wasn't doing that.
Shen Yuan was relieved when he was allowed to go back to his room, he absolutely hated anything that came out of the head disciple's foul mouth. It was some sort of miracle, that miracle was horses and speed. The made the transmigrator grateful for those horses they brought along, and he was happy he got to share a horse with Binghe again, and this time he didn't have to control the reins. Luo Binghe actually seemed pretty eager to be the one with the reins, he seemed even more eager when Shen Yuan wrapped his arms around his Shidi's stomach, as to not fall off.
This seemed to stir something in the young protagonist, he flushed a light pink that Shen Yuan failed to notice. The moonlight thankfully helped Luo Binghe in this situation by making him appear pale in the bright light. Luo Binghe could practice feel holes forming in his head whenever Shen QingQiu peeked out of his carriage, a glare formed on his face the first time he looked back, they stayed for every time after that.
The Qing Jing Peak Lord's harsh gaze especially lingered on his younger brother's soft hands, that were firmly secure around Luo Binghe's stomach. But every single moment the glare was on him, Luo Binghe just had to remind himself that Shen Yuan was the most comforting thing right now. That was the truth.
The group arrived back at the Peak and Shen QingQiu ascended the Peak to go and report to most likely Yue Qingyuan. Shen Yuan held himself back from dropping to his knees and kissing the ground from gratitude and relief. The best part was Ming Fan had finally shut up.
Grabbing Luo Binghe by his collar, the transmigrator began to lead the young protagonist to their unknowingly shared room. Well, they both knew about it, but no one else did. A large smile was on the younger disciple's bright face as he was walked like a dog, the smile was accompanied by a light pink hue that rested on his cheeks.
Shen Yuan pushed open the door and dragged his friend inside the small room, he closed the door and let go of Binghe's collar. The two sat down on the silky bed, Shen Yuan smiled at his companion and reached his hand out, placing it on top of the curly hair. With a smile, Luo Binghe tried not to just straight up and die on the spot, it felt nice when his Shixiong touched his hair.
The transmigrator took off his boots and moved around in the bed so he was behind Luo Binghe, then, Shen Yuan begin to play with the soft curls. He tried not to accidentally tug too hard or hurt his Shidi. It was relaxing, and a good way to pass the time.
[Protagonist Satisfaction Points: + 15. +10 B points.]
Yep, that's what Shen Yuan was doing, he was shamelessly farming B Points by doing this, it seemed the protagonist enjoyed physical contact. He learned this a while ago. Every time Shen Yuan was close or touching the protagonist the system alerted him with more B points, it was good despite the small amounts of them.
Luo Binghe sighed into the touch, he too felt relaxed whenever Shen Yuan played with his curly mess of hair.
The necklace was a bother, it urged for blood. That stupid necklace reminded the transmigrator of Xin Mo, the protagonist's Golden Finger and all powerful sword, except he didn't get it until he fell into the abyss. Shen Yuan was starting to believe no matter what happened to Luo Binghe something good will come in return, he could step in dog shit and find some sort of mystic scroll or artefact.
System, is there anyway to prevent the endless abyss storyline?
[No, if Luo Binghe does not go into the abyss everything will be reduced to zero and user will be deported back to their original world.]
Of course he couldn't stop it. He should've expected that, Luo Binghe would need to suffer in the abyss or Shen Yuan would die.
This was so unfair.
Sighing, Shen Yuan realised how much he sounded like a teenager. Moody. The transmigrator stopped playing with Luo Binghe's hair, he sat up and got off the bed. Binghe also stood up, they both took of their outer robes and folded them neatly, putting them on a desk.
The two laid down on the bed. Luo Binghe held a nervous expression, he's never actually shared the bed with Shen Yuan, they usually took it in turns on sleeping on the floor. This was new, and Luo Binghe loved it.
The transmigrator was internally panicking, he had finally taken Luo Binghe's suggestion of just sharing a bed and it was nerve wracking. The only people the protagonist shared a bed with was his wives, and they'd just been in a situation where Shen Yuan was almost stripped bare. The pressure was immense.
The bed was small, unable to fully fit two people, so Luo Binghe and Shen Yuan has to be very close to eachother. Stuck up against the wall, Luo Binghe struggled to find a place to put his arm, but finally decided, with consent, to wrap it around Shen Yuan's waist.
Flushed a deep pink, Binghe was trying to slow down his quickened breathing. That proved to be a struggle. Every attempt was failed, then repeated.
The next morning Shen Yuan woke up to a shock, footsteps were getting close to the door, and he could hear a familiar voice. Shen QingQiu was coming. Panicking, Shen Yuan quickly woke up Luo Binghe and explained the situation, making both of them begin to panic.
Quickly, Luo Binghe was shoved under the bed and his robes were hidden in a drawer, while Shen Yuan quickly put on his outer robes and innocently sat on the bed with a nervous expression.
Shen QingQiu flung open the door with an emotionless expression. He looked suspiciously at Shen Yuan, seeing that his younger brother was nervously sweating.
