☆THE MALL AT BAY PLAZA, BRONX, NY☆ August 15,2021 3:33PM OMNISCIENT POV
Jhene and Kaliyah walked around the mall looking for cute pajamas to wear to Mhady's Movie night later tonight. Despite the situation going on between her and Kay, she could admit this was one of the best summers she'd ever experience thanks to her cousin.
Sadly, the summer would be coming to an end soon and she would have to return back to school. Jhene didn't have much friends and she's pretty sure she would hesitate to have any after that whole Zen and Amina conflict.
Now that her and Kaliyah were old enough to travel around on their own, they would definitely be keeping in touch with each other. It was truly blessing to have a cousin and bestfriend all in one.
"This one is so cuteee." Kaliyah gasped holding up a short two piece pajama set. It was black and the material was made of silk. There was also flower lace around the hems of the shorts and arm sleeves.
Jhene smiled as she examined the details with Kaliyah. "Real cute! I wish they had it in pink though."
"True, I think it would look cute on us. We should get this one and look for another different set, that way we could decide on which one to wear later." Kaliyah spoke as she picked up two of the pajama sets throwing it over her arm.
"Sounds like a plan. You know how to put on a lace frontal? I had a brand new one sitting in my luggage forever and I don't even know how to apply it foreal. The tik tok girls make it look sooooo easy."
"Yeah I got you, let's stop inside the beauty store before we head out." Kaliyah said as Jhene nodded her head.
"You gonna be okay with being in the same room with him today?" Kaliyah questioned.
Pondering for a moment she paused in her steps and looked up at Kaliyah. "Im not sure to be honest. I kinda miss him a bit but we both agreed to keep things cordial so hopefully...."
