(Y/N'S POV)

After the concert, Alya invited me back to her place for a sleepover. She was just about to leave my ass at the venue after how long I hung back with Luka, but as soon as I got in her car, she was begging to hear all the details. I was only able to stall her until we got back to her house and were comfortably settled in her room.

"So?" Alya sat on her bed in front of me, eyes wide.

"So what?"

"Spill! What did Luka say?" Alya leaned forward, nearly falling on her face.

"Well..." I thought for a moment. Telling Alya that Luka broke up with Marinette was a little tricky considering Alya and Marinette are so close. But she'd find out eventually, I guess. I also had yet to tell her about my breakup. I had to handle this expertly. "Luka broke up with Marinette right after the show and also Isaac and I broke up last night but it's very okay and we're all good but I don't know what I was thinking cause I told Luka about my breakup right after he told me about his breakup and I'm worried I jumped the gun." Yeah, expertly handled.

"Woah, woah woah slow down. He said what?! You did what?!" Alya stared at me in disbelief.

I spent the next couple minutes summarizing the past 24 hours to the best of my ability, with Alya looking at an absolute loss for words. But true to her nature, she had several things to say by the end of it all.

"Oh my god Luka is totally in love with you." Alya stated, like I should be agreeing with her.

"That's what you got from all that?"

"Y/N, it's so completely obvious." Alya raised an eyebrow at me.

"I simply don't agree with that assessment. How could you think that? He just got out of a relationship like an hour ago." I laid back on Alya's bed and stared at the ceiling as I finally voiced the reality of the problem out loud.

"You're just not seeing the situation clearly." She flopped down next to me.

"Enlighten me, then."

"Notice how he distanced himself from you when you both got in relationships?" Alya turned her head to face me.

"Well, yeah. But I did the same thing." I deadpanned.

"Exactly! You did it because seeing him in a relationship with someone else was painful for you, and you were worried your feelings might be confirmed if you were to hang out with him while you were in a relationship."

"I'm aware, thank you."

"But Luka never went after your friendship after you both became taken. He also pulled away all on his own. Why else would he do that except for the exact reasons you had?" Alya made a good point. I knew Luka well enough to know he would at least try a little to save our friendship if I was pulling away. But in this instance, he didn't.

"Well–"

"But that's not all." Alya interjected.

"What else, then." I sighed.

"He also ended things with Marinette right after the concert. This isn't rock solid but my theory is that he thought of you when playing the songs and felt guilty. Hence, the post-show breakup."

"Weak sauce." I shot back. That theory didn't have much grounds.

"Regardless." Alya took a breath and just kept going. "On top of that, he said they were better off as friends– which leads me to believe he didn't see her as anything more than that after all. Especially because he was the one who broke up with her. And why would he get into a relationship with someone he doesn't know he likes like that? Same reason you did it: to get over a crush." Alya rambled her theories out one after the other.

"Alya, I don't–"

"Also–" She interrupted again. "You said Luka seemed surprised when you mentioned Marinette telling you to go backstage. I think that Marinette did that of her own accord and Luka did not request for you to come– especially because he thought that you and Isaac were still dating and that he should probably keep his distance. But why would Marinette tell you to go back there you ask?" I didn't ask, but here we are. "Because she and Luka had the same conversation that you and Isaac had!" Alya threw her hands up in the air in triumph, but I was a little lost still.

"What?"

"Y'know how Isaac told you to tell Luka about your feelings?"

"Well, yeah."

"Well, I think Marinette came to a similar realization about Luka's feelings towards you, and sent you back in an attempt to try and set you both up and make Luka happy, because she definitely still cares about him. Duh!" All this theorizing was dizzying.

"You got all that from a quick conversation? You're crazy." I rolled my eyes. Despite my resistance, there was a part of me that wished she was right– that Luka really did have feelings for me.

"I might be crazy, but I bet I'm also right."

"Maybe so." I admitted, letting my wishes sneak through a little. Silence followed as we both processed tonight's events. Suddenly, the silence was burst by a loud gasp from Alya.

"Oh my god." She sat up excitedly. I sat up too, intrigued.

"What?"

"I have a plan." She triumphantly stated.

"Do tell."

"A sleepover." She grinned at me.

"Alya, I hate to break this to you...but that's what we're doing right now." I raised an eyebrow, confused.

"Nonono." She rolled her eyes. "Tomorrow night. Right here. With everyone." Alya paused for a second. "Well, maybe not everyone."

"What is that plan supposed to do, exactly?"

"Okay so here's the gist: We invite a bunch of people over for a sleepover at my place tomorrow night. I'm thinking we invite Nino, Rose, Adrien, Ivan, Juleka, and Luka. So that's step one, okay?" Alya said ecstatically.

"Okay...?"

"Then we get you all dolled up in that sleepy cute kinda way just in time for Luka to arrive." She was getting very excited. I rolled my eyes.

"That's it?"

"You greatly underestimate how easy it is to put a guy in a near trance just by being near him. And remember– Luka hasn't really seen you in a while. He'll be needing his fix."

"His fix?" I mocked.

"Definitely." Alya seemed dead serious about the plan, and while I hated to admit it– I was intrigued.

"As long as you don't make it weird, I'm in."

"Great– let's text everyone about it."
