(Y/N's POV)

(Möbius Chicken Strip): I cheered as Trouble ended, along with the rest of the room. Juleka got up from the couch and grabbed her bass. Luka stood up so Ivan and Adrien could move the couch back off stage.

"A few months ago I heard this song for the first time with one of my favorite people in the entire world." The crowd settled down a little. "She and I were sitting on top of my mom's house boat. The sun was rising and we hadn't slept a wink all night." I remembered that morning. I remembered how slowly the world moved for a few hours. I remembered how perfect everything was. How perfect he was.

"Anyway, about 2 minutes into the song, I remember she said; 'This is how I want life to be. Always.'" He scratched the back of his head. "And I remember I said; 'It always is with you.'" The crowd stirred as I tried desperately to keep my face from flushing red. I looked up and Luka was looking straight at me. "And she punched my arm and told me I was cheesy or something like that. And to this day I'm genuinely in love with this whole album. But this song will always be my favorite." He riffed on the guitar and I could hear some members of the crowd cheer as they recognized the song. My heart was beating a million miles a minute when he moved his head to the mic stand and belted out the beginning of the song:

I don't wanna go home

I wanna spend this time with you alone

Cause its so so special

I've felt a lot of things, but nothing quite like this

And all the voices in the back of my head are playing every single syllable that you ever said to me

Tell me I need someone like you around me

Hearing him sing this song felt like we were right back on the houseboat, eating Cheetos and laughing our asses off. I was so lost in thought that Alya nudged me and jerked her head towards the stage. I refocused and found myself nearly face to face with Luka, who was crouched down and looking me right in the eyes. Sweat dripped off his nose and his necklaces hung loose. He smiled at me before standing up.

I said it too many times not to hear

I hope that it's clear, I'm glad that you're here

And I think you'll always be

Cause I've never met someone who has been quite as close to me

Like you

(All the Pretty Girls): "Thank you, thank you! And now a word from our sponsors..." Luka took the mic off the stand and handed it to Adrien, who had walked downstage.

"Oh shh." Adrien playfully pushed Luka away, laughing. I could hear the crowd shouting out Adrien's name in excitement. I overheard Marinette gush a bunch of words I couldn't make out. "I just wanted to say thank you. To you guys and to the band for letting me rock out here tonight." He adjusted the cuffs of his jacket, looking nervous. "It's really a dream." He bowed a little before handing the mic back to Luka and returning to the keyboard. Luka grinned as the audience erupted in cheers. He stood there soaking it all in for a moment before singing:

All the pretty girls on a saturday night

I lost it. If one could be in love with a song, this would be it for me. My friends around me swayed and jumped, screaming out the lyrics along with Luka. It became background noise. People screamed out, cheering for Luka, but I only barely registered it. All I could see was him under the yellow lights. The sleeves of his white dress shirt were rolled up just above his forearms, which were surprisingly toned. His eyeliner was really smudged at this point, making him look like a beautiful travesty. Picture perfect. Then he turned his head just enough to make eye contact. I could hear hints of desperation in his voice as he clung to the mic stand and sang:
