One In A Million - Fiona Goode

I walked down the grand staircase, to head towards the nearby kitchen. It was currently 8:36 am and all the witches were already up and doing their own thing. Once i walked into kitchen, i was greeted by the familiar face of Cordelia. "Morning, Cordelia," i said while walking to the coffee machine standing on one of the counters. "Morning, is Zoe up? i need to speak to her," Cordelia spoke up a little louder due to the loud sound of the coffee machine. "I'm not quite-" i stopped in mid sentence due to the sound of someone coughing at the doorframe. Me and Cordelia both turned around to look at who it is. There she was, the supreme herself, my girlfriend, Fiona Goode. She was standing in a tight fitting black dress which had a slight bit of black lace on the sleeves. She wore the dress with black tights and her go to black heels.
"What are you two blabbering on about?" Fiona said while walking over to the table. "Cordelia was just asking me a question," i replied. "That right, Mother. I was only asking Y/N a question," she looked at me and then back at Fiona. The older woman who was sat at table looked between the both of us and then went back to lighting her cigarette which she just found. I went back to the coffee machine which has finished making my coffee. While i was pouring the coffee into my mug i heard Fiona say to me,"Darling?" I turned my head slightly and then turned myself head back to the boiling hot coffee i was pouring into my mug and replied with,"Yes, dear?" "I was thinking since we've been staying in the academy more than usual, let's go out for dinner." It must be important because Fiona never just says let's go to dinner without a reason. I thought to myself, 'What could be so special that we have to go to dinner?'.
"Of course we can Fiona but what's the reason?" i questioned her. "It's a surprise, darling," with that she walked out and went up the stairs. Cordelia started to talk to me about how weird that was and that there must be something really important for Fiona not even to say the reason.

Later that day, i was up in my room putting my dress on when i heard a knock on my bedroom door. "Yes?" i shouted. "It's me Fiona! Can i come in?" i heard the voice of the supreme say. "Of course, dear!" i replied back to her. I was trying to zip my dress up when i heard the door open and close. There was Fiona walking towards me with a bright smile on her face. "My darling angel, do you need help with that?" Fiona asked. "If you don't mind," i laughed in embarrassment that i can't even zip my own dress without needing extra support. "There we go! You looked wonderful," Fiona said while holding my face with both of her hands. "I could say the same thing about you, ms Goode," i laughed. She smiled and placed a gentle kiss on my lips before saying,"Come on let's go, i have a table reservation at your favourite restaurant." I gasped once i heard that it was my favourite restaurant. Normally, it's impossible to get a reservation at my favourite restaurant without pre-booking.

At the restaurant, me and Fiona had a table for two next to a window of a view of their garden which has bright little fairy lights all around lighting up the area. I've never came here at night so it was an experience i would never forget. We've already had our starter and main course and we were now just having a few drinks to end the night.
"So Y/N, i've got to ask you a question which could determine our future..but we've been dating for nearly 4 years and i just felt like it was the right moment to do this you know?" i placed my hand on top of Fiona's and began to stroke the back of her hand with my thumb. "The way you hope those girls is amazing, you are so talented, you've helped my daughter in so many ways i couldn't have, you've been a wonder to all of us at the academy but mostly to me, you are my everything, Y/N. I love you so much, i can't even describe. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and i'm serious about it. Now, this just brings me to my final question, Y/N, will you marry me?" she got up and she made me and her stand together with our hands interlinked. My eyes began to water due to the amount of happiness i felt. "YES, Fiona! I will marry you!" I kissed Fiona passionately. I couldn't believe it. I was in shock. We pulled away at the same time and i saw that her and me were both crying tears of joy. Oh how i wished this moment would last for eternity. Fiona then pulled out a diamond ring and placed it gently on my ring finger. Me and her began to laugh with happiness together.

Me and Fiona walked back into the academy late at night and began to walk up the stairs case, hand in hand. Once we reached to the top of the stairs, Fiona held both of my hands together with her hers connected and said,"Y/N, i'm so glad you said yes because to me, your one in a million, i can't believe how lucky i've to have met you and be able to soon marry you." I smiled and hugged her. "I love you so much Fifi," I couldn't believe i was soon going to be Y/N Goode. My heart skips a beat thinking about it.
