You walked into your classroom and spotted Murasakibara yawning right at the start of the day. His eyes were half-lidded, and his entire existence screamed I'd rather be asleep. You giggled to yourself and made your way toward him.
"Atsu-kun!" you squealed. He turned his head lazily in your direction. "You again?" he muttered, clearly annoyed—though to you, it was just adorably annoyed. Without a word, you placed a notebook and two bags of chips on his desk. His eyes lit up immediately. Like magic. You could practically see the sparkle of excitement in them as he reached out.
But you were quicker.
You slapped your hands down over the chips just before he could grab them. In that split second, his large hands landed on top of yours. The warmth of his skin spread through your fingers like a quiet electric shock. His hands had always looked rough, but in that moment, they felt unexpectedly soft... and comfortable. You almost blushed crimson on the spot—but he quickly withdrew his hands, breaking the trance.
"You brought them for me, didn't you?" he asked, avoiding your gaze. "Yeah," you replied proudly. "I spent the money. I bought them. For you," you emphasized, looking straight into his sleepy purple eyes. "Are you stalking me or something?" he mumbled. "Whatever. They're yours," you muttered back, rolling your eyes.
"Then move your hands," he deadpanned. "At least give me something in return!" you said, arching a brow. "What do you want?" His tone was as uninterested as ever, but he looked at you now. "Your friendship," you said immediately, confident and bold, your hands still guarding the prize. His eyes widened slightly in surprise.
"Aaaalllright... friends forevaa..." he said, dragging the words in that signature lazy tone. He then casually slid the chips out from under your hands, victorious. You just stood there, smiling like an idiot. "Thanks, Atsu-kun," you said sweetly, watching him already munching on the chips, eyes now fixed on the window.

"Nezu-chan! We should totally go join them!" you said, tugging Nezuko toward the school courtyard where Murasakibara and Himuro were seated with their lunches. Nezuko hesitated, obviously flustered, but you were on a mission, and she couldn't escape your grip.
"[Your Name]-chan! Hi!" Himuro greeted warmly as you approached. Murasakibara, as expected, didn't even flinch—he just kept eating. "Hi Himuro-chin, hi Atsu-kun," you chirped, settling down beside Murasakibara and motioning for Nezuko to sit next to Himuro. She did, though she looked like her soul might float out of her body from how nervous she was.
"Guys, this is Nezuko-chan—my best friend," you introduced proudly. Nezuko gave a small, polite wave. Himuro responded with a soft smile and a respectful nod. Murasakibara simply said, "Hey," without even looking up. "Atsu-kun! Don't you acknowledge your friends?" you teased, poking his arm. Himuro chuckled, and Nezuko giggled softly. Murasakibara let out an exaggerated groan.
"You guys are friends?" Himuro asked, eyes wide with surprise. Nezuko looked equally stunned. "She bought my friendship with two bags of chips," Murasakibara replied matter-of-factly. "Are you that cheap, Atsushi?" Himuro burst into laughter. So did Nezuko. And you? You were already grinning ear to ear. "They were two bags of chips! I couldn't help it!" he huffed. "She's sneaky." You pulled a face at him. "You love it."
The four of you spent the rest of lunch talking and laughing, the courtyard buzzing with a fresh, easy kind of energy. Himuro and Nezuko had their own soft spark of chemistry, subtle but promising. You made a mental note: she definitely owed you for this.
Meanwhile, Murasakibara started grabbing bites from your lunchbox without even asking, claiming it was "friendship tax." You tried to swat his hand away, just for show, but in truth—you didn't mind sharing at all. You were forming something special with him. A bond that wasn't just playful anymore. It wasn't exactly love yet... but it was something close. Something warm. Something you didn't want to let go of.
The feelings on your side were getting clearer. As for Murasakibara and Himuro—well, their hearts might take a little longer to catch up. But you could wait.
