Chapter 10

"I told you to come back fast," he punched Fourth's chest hard, sobbing.
"I'm sorry... it's okay now, I'm here." Fourth stroked his hair.

"What happened here?"

Fourth turned to see Winny and Satang standing at the door.

Both boys stood there, stunned, as they saw the scene in front of them. Joshua was beaten to pulp and lay there motionless. Satang clenched his hands as tears filled his eyes. Winny looked at him and became worried.

"I'll go check," he said and put his finger down Joshua's nose, sighing in relief. "I will call an ambulance."

"Call the cops too," Satang said.

"Are you sure?" Winny asked. Satang just nodded. He moved towards Gemini and Fourth.

"Gemini, I'm sorry. It's my fault," he said, but Gemini didn't say anything. He just squeezed in Fourth's arms . Fourth looked up at Satang and shook his head. Satang took a few steps back, scared.

"I'll take him to the room," Fourth said. He picked up Gemini in his arms, with Gemini still clinging onto his shirt. He entered the room and closed the door.

Satang stood there, looking at Joshua with his red, teary eyes. Winny couldn't see him like that; he knew he was hurt and he always blamed himself for what happened with Gemini. He cupped his face and made him look at himself, then hugged him, wrapping his arms around his shoulders. "Let the tears flow, don't hold back," he caressed his nape with his thumb.

Satang broke down. "It's all because of me," he cried.

"No, it's not," Winny said.

After that, Joshua was taken into police custody. Gemini's mother was informed about the incident. She wanted to take him home, but Gemini resisted. He didn't want to worry his mother, so he told her that he was perfectly fine and that nothing bad really happened.

"Gem... take your medicine," Fourth said as he tried to pull the blanket with which Gemini had covered himself.

"No, Fourth, I don't like them," he said, pulling the blanket back with force. But Fourth threw the blanket away to reveal Gemini pouting with his doe eyes and messy hair.

"Fourth, it's been 3 months. My body has fully recovered. Why do I still have to eat this shit?" He pointed at the medicine in Fourth's hands.
Fourth shook his head, thinking about how stubborn his boy was. "You will take them, or do you want me to feed you with my mouth?" Fourth said, looking at his lips.

Gemini immediately took the medicines and water from Fourth's hand and gulped them down in one go. Fourth smirked.
"Good boy," he ruffled Gemini's hair. Gemini shyly looked away.
"Why are you still so shy with me?" Fourth asked, pulling his cheeks.
"I'm not," Gemini said, stealing a glance at Fourth.
"Really... then look at me in the eyes," he tilted Gemini's face towards him with his hands.

Gemini locked his eyes with Fourth's. Fourth's eyes were quite pretty; he had never noticed it before, he thought as he looked deep into them. His ears started turning red. His gaze then slowly traveled to Fourth's lips. Fourth smirked.

Fourth leaned in and crashed his lips against Gemini's, as he had longed for it for a long time. Gemini was a little shocked, yet he surrendered to the kiss. Fourth sucked on his lower lip hard and bit it. Gemini winced in pain as he parted his lips. In an instant, Fourth slid his tongue into Gemini's mouth. He could taste the rusty fragrance of blood mixed with saliva.

Adjusting his position to be on top of Gemini, he sucked on Gemini's tongue. Gemini struggled to breathe; his body started heating up. He tried to pull away, but Fourth kept deepening the kiss more and more. Gemini couldn't take it anymore; he slapped Fourth's shoulder continuously. Fourth immediately pulled away. He looked at Gemini, who was panting, his hand on his chest as he tried to catch his breath. His lips were swollen and red. He glared at Fourth.

"Fourth, you almost killed me," he said, punching him on the shoulder.
Fourth just laughed, proud of what he had just done.
"Is this funny to you?" Gemini shot him a look.
"Sorry, baby, I couldn't control myself," he said.

"Gem... I invited Winny and P'satang today." He paused and continued, "Have you talked to P'satang after that day?"

Gemini shook his head "no" and leaned to rest his head on Fourth's shoulder.

"Talk to him today. Winny said P'satang is not feeling that good these days and looks all gloomy."

Ting ting~

"I think they are here. Let's go," Fourth said, standing up. Gemini nodded.

They opened the door and saw Winny and Satang standing next to each other.
"Gemini..." Winny hugged him tightly.
"Enough, enough, I can't breathe," he said.
He looked at Satang, who avoided eye contact.
"We brought some fried chicken," Satang said, handing it to Fourth.

They sat on the sofa. They talked for a few minutes, but Satang remained silent. Winny looked at Fourth, and he nodded.

"Fourth, let's go bring something to drink from the kitchen," he said, standing up.
Fourth nodded and followed Winny to the kitchen.

Satang and Gemini just sat there silently. Satang was nervously playing with his fingers, and Gemini noticed it. He looked at him.

"Phi," he said. Satang looked at him.
"Are you okay?" gemini asked. Satang just nodded.

"Phi, you know I'm really glad that I met you," he continued. "Back then, I was quite an introverted person who didn't have friends. When I talked to you for the first time, I thought I finally found a friend. You were kind to me, helped me with my studies, and even treated me to free food." He chuckled.

"And after all that happened, you were always there by my side, always protected me like I was your little brother. Also, thanks to you, I got to meet Winny, who treats me like a baby even though we're almost the same age." He turned to look at Satang, whose eyes were teary.
"So, Phi, I don't regret meeting you," he smiled.

"I'm sorry, Gemini. It was my fault. If I hadn't pushed you to have a relationship with him, it wouldn't have happened," Satang closed his eyes, and tears rolled down his cheeks.

"It's okay, Phi. Don't blame yourself for what happened," he rubbed his back and smiled.
After some minutes of crying Satang wiped his tears and looked at Gemini, smiling.

Fourth and Winny came back. Winny smiled, seeing both of his favorite people smiling. "I'm so happy today," he said as he back hugged Satang, with his arms wrapped around his neck.

"So... you two," Satang pointed at Fourth and Gemini, "You're dating now, right?"
"Of course, we're dating," Fourth said, holding Gemini's hand. Satang looked at Gemini. Gemini nodded shyly.
