"Cal, you have got to come over here." "Why Luke, Briar and I agreed on taking a break?" "She started cutting again, and she really needs you." Luke sighed into the phone. "Ok, I'll be there in 10 mins." And Calum hung up the phone. Grabbing his wallet, keys, and phone, he headed out to the car.
Driving to Luke's place was easy, and I knocked on his door. "Oh good, you're here. She's in her room." "Do you know where it is?" "Yes, Luke, I do, I always come here." "Be careful with your words though, tread carefully, she's really sensitive right now." Calum nodded and went up the stairs, to which he knocked on Briar's door.
"Come in." Briar muttered. She watched the knob turn, and saw Cal peek his head in, "You okay?" He asked, walking fully into the room. "Yeah, just went through some things." I said, showing my wrapped arm out.
"Baby." He said softly. Tears welled up in Briar's eyes. "I'm sorry Calum." She sobbed. "No, no, baby, it's not your fault." Calum said, consoling her.
Gripping Calum's t-shirt, she slowly calmed down, as he rubbed up and down her back.
"Do you want some ice cream?" Calum asked, as she slowly calmed down.
"Yes, please."
