I heard a light tapping on my window. I looked and saw Calum, with his notebook/journal and a pen. I opened the window for him, and let him in. Being the person Cal is, he tackled me onto my bed and began tickling me. "Cal, stop!" I gasped out. "You have 15 minutes only, then you have to leave!" Or at least I tried. "Nah, I told Mike, that I wasn't going to the studio today. He said that they were gonna work with Luke and like Ash today. I'm not needed."

"Oh, what about that song then?" "I just made that up?" "You sure? You know I'm great at writing songs, I basically wrote your 2nd album." Remembering the days and chaos that the band was not happy about. That was also when Luke discovered that I could write amazing songs.

"Earth to Briar, you there?" Cal asked, cocking his head to the side. "Oh yeah, sorry Cal, got a little distracted." "I think I remember what kind of like disorder you have." Cal mumbled. "Oh, what?" Cal handed me his phone, and I looked at the picture. It had written on it: autism, and epilepsy. But I didn't see a reason why Luke offered me a house and to live with him? Questions swirled around my brain. "Have I had any seizures?"

"Yeah, the last one you had was 4 years ago, it was when you moved in with Luke. He was scared shitless to be honest." "How long did I last for?" "Luke had to call an ambulance or Ash did because Luke couldn't do anything. And you lasted for like 7 minutes."

"Oh, I don't remember that." I shrugged. "That's okay, no one really remembers that they have a seizure after they stop." Cal patted my head.

"The little seizures you have while you just stare into nothing is called absence seizures, those are fine." Calum explained to me.

"If you don't need to write songs what did you want to do?" I asked, while looking down.

"We don't have to do that, but do you wanna cuddle and watch movies and get pizza?" "Sure." I responded. "Hey, it's okay. Nothing to worry about, that's Luke's job." He embraced me in his arms, and I just sat there, like a bump on a log. "I'll order the pizza, while you pick out some movies for us to watch. That sound okay?" I nodded and Cal picked up his phone to go order pizza. "Make sure to get the pineapple pizza with bacon." I called out, while Cal was leaving my room. He gave me a thumbs up and left the room.

I was left picking out the movies. I picked out: Madagascar, Penguins Movie, The Bee Movie, A Walk to Remember, and The Conjuring. Cal came back 15 minutes later with the pizza in hand. "Did you pick out some?" He asked, setting the pizza down on the bed. "Yeah, if you get off your phone I have picked some. Take a look and tell me which one you want. I really don't care." I told Cal, walking to get changed into something comfy. I walked out of the bathroom in shorts and one of Cal's shirts, which was very oversized on me, but I didn't care.

"Okay, we can just have a movie marathon all night. I'm just gonna start in order, if that's okay with you?"

"Yeah, that's fine." "Try not to fall asleep during them, because you're prone to doing that." Cal laughed, getting the movie set up. "You comfy over there?" Cal asked as he saw me on the bed. "I don't have any blankets, please Cal." Cal came back with blankets and pillows, and dumped them on me.

I gave him a glare, but he pushed that aside and jumped onto the bed. "Y'know Cal, for a 22y/o, you're still immature." "Hey! Say that for yourself, you're only 16." "Am I wrong though?"

"I mean..." He blushed. "Ha! I got you!" I laughed, while Cal tried to act all manly. "Bro, it won't work on me! I know you have a crush on me, just admit it." I watched him digest the words I just said.

"I do have a crush on you, I'll admit it. Even though we have a six year age difference." "Oh fuck the age, I don't care how old you are. Love comes in different shapes and sizes." Smiling at the end.

Calum didn't answer and just cuddles more into the blankets, and pillows. Halfway through Madagascar, Cal put an arm around my shoulders, pulling me into him.

We were nearing the end of the Bee Movie, and I was about to fall asleep. I had to stay awake though, because I wanted to watch the next movie. Cal could tell that I was about to fall asleep, because he started to turn the volume down, and lowering the brightness. "Cal, what are you doing?" I asked, yawning. "Just turning down the volume." He told me. "But like I wanna stay up!" I whined. "No, Briar, I know you're tired. Let's get ready for bed." "Noooo!!" I whined. "C'mon, you're tired, it's like 11:25 pm." "It's too early!"

Calum somehow managed to make me use the bathroom and brush my teeth and to give me my medicine. "C'mon sleepy, lay down." Cal helped me into bed.

"Stay. Cuddle with me." I mumbled sleepily. "No Briar, you know I can't do that, Luke'll kill me." "Nah he won't, I'll make sure of it." She told me.

"Alright! Scoot on over then!" He jumped into the bed and laid flat on his back. He pulled me to lay on his chest. It was nice and refreshing in that moment.

"Bri?" "Yeah.." I lifted my head up.

Calum filled in the gap and he and I kissed. It was a slow, but sweet moment, and he was gentle with me.

I smiled afterwards and laid back down on his chest afterwards.

That warm feeling never left Cal and Briar all night long.
