"Here let me help you onto the boat."
The boy says.
"No that won't be necessary." I reply and I make my self rise out of the water so that I'm level with the boat. Then I step in. He looks shocked for some reason.
"What? I know you're like me, so you can drop the act." I say, I'm getting good at using this kind of modern day way of talking. "So you have to come with me." I say breaking the silence as he stares.
"Wait what? I'm not going anywhere with you." He replies as he starts to speed the boat up towards the dock.
"Listen to me." I say as I make the boat stop with a simple thought. "You are going to die soon. I had a vision. I don't have to be telling you this I could just take you by force. I wanted you to have a chance to say goodbye to your family, but that's your choice. I can do it either way." I hate being this mean but this guy has to listen to me or it will be my fault when he dies.
He starts moving the boat again and I let him. The perfectly still water ripples as the small boat moves through it. Wherever we are is very pretty. I snap out of my thoughts as we pull up to the dock. As the boy ties the boat up I hop out.
"Hey kids, what are you two up to." I jump at a mans voice and turn around.
"Nothing just helping this girl out of the water I guess." the boy says looking over at me.
"Oh did you fall in?" The man looks over at me.
"Uh, yeah." I answer.
"Are you new in town? I haven't seen you around." He asks.
"I guess you could say that." I answer glancing around nervously. It's getting darker and I know we don't have much time.
"Well we always welcome new people around here. This is my son Adam and I'm Mr. Mills." He says motioning towards the boy. The wind picks up and I have a really bad feeling. I look around and to the left I see a tall, older man. I know without seeing his face that it's the guy who kills Adam.
"Adam, you want to see where I live??" Before he answers I grab his hand and run.
"Have fun kids, be back for dinner Adam!!!" His dad yells after us. I make us run faster and when we are out of sight I stop.
"Ok we have to go now, it's him." I point over towards the man but he's gone.
"Who?" Adam asks but I don't answer him because I feel a sharp pain on the back of my head as the butt of a gun connects with the back of my head.
