"I'm here for Alyssa"
I peered down at Juliet who stood in front of me, arms folded, narrowed eyes. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes and glanced at Alyssa.
"Of course, Doctor, just one moment."
Juliet announced with a sarcastic bow. I scoff and look away. Why was she so damn difficult?
"Alyssa, you bodyguard doesn't want you to have a life, go before he kills all of us"
Juliet's remarks kept comming and I resisted answering back. Karens demanding free items and medicines irritated me as it was, now I had to deal with an immature 20 year old. Bit to mention her birthday was soon.
Alyssa stood up and got he stuff as she go ready to go home with me. She knew arguing to stay with me was pointless, everyone of them knew.
I let her walk past me to the elevator of the muli-story apartment block. I gave Juliet one last glare before walking out with Alyssa and shutting the door behind me.
We stepped into the elevator and I leaned against the mirror, pressing the buttons for the lobby. I adjusted my black turtleneck shirt and black trousers. I unfolded my pale blue trench coat and slung it over my shoulders.
"Put your coat on Al, it's cold outside"
I said nodding at my sister's black leather jacket. She swung it over her shoulders and nodded.
