Josh approaches me halfway through my rant at Alita for not knowing there was a 'D' in Dyslexia.

I know she's dyslexic but in all damn seriousness it is the first letter, FIRST SOUND, that is said in the damn word 'dyslexia'.

Josh looks utterly confused.

"What is going on?"

He asks raising an eyebrow.

"THIS ONE, THIS ONE RIGHT HERE-"
I yell aloud pointing at Alita, who was sat next to me cackling.

"DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A 'D' IN DYSLEXIA."

"Excuse me?"

Josh's answer is confused, his eyebrows raised and eyes darting between us.

"So me and her were talking about her dyslexia and I start spelling it out. D- e- and she interrupts me, yelling 'THERE'S A 'D' IN DYSLEXIA???' sounding confused as hell!"

Josh rolls his eyes.

He looks unamused. He walks over and sits next to Alyssa who was giggling like a child. Josh leans back against a heavy plant and stares down at me and Alita as we argue.

The argument lasts a few minutes until we both have burst out laughing. We got up and decided to go to have lunch together.

We vote and McDonald's is the obvious option. We go to the McDonald's which is the closest we can find in the mall and us girls order the food and find a place to sit while the boys wait for our orders.

Generously Aaron and Josh said they'd pay for the food. Josh was a man I'd never seen as unhealthy. He was rich and he didn't hide it. Expensive h̶o̶t̶ clothes and a fancy black car. He didn't feel bad spending money on Alyssa and Alyssa being the sweetest girl in the world offers him to pay for us.

I sat at the window, watching people walk past. A group of teen girls, a group of skateboard guys, a few random families. I zoned out and remember about the entire drama earlier.

Josh and Aaron came back, Josh holding me, Alita and his shared order tray, whole Aaron had his, Alyssa's and Ki's.

Alita moved to make space for Josh to sit between us. He uses one hand to lower our tray down onto the clean beige table. He sits between us and rolls up the sleeves of his classic black turtleneck.

I shift my gaze to the food and stare at it for a few seconds. I don't feel hungry at all. I reach my hand over and grab a fry and take a smal bite.

I zone out staring at the table while mechanically reaching over and eating some fries.

Should I mention the argument with Channel?
He seemed anything but happy about Channel being near us?

I feel the air conditioning making a breeze over our table. I felt slightly cold but didn't pay much attention to it.

I snapped back to reality when I heard about three voices calling my name.

"Huh?"

I mutter looking up. All five of them were staring at me looking concerned.
