z nation: 10k and Cassandra one shots

On side or on top is a picture of daryl and beth and Cassandra and 10k. Which is the better ship,tomsandra or bethyl? Ps this is a long one.
(Narrator's point of view)

It was a normal day for 10k. Killing and Counting zs,going on runs, hearing Murphy complain,and looking out for Cassandra especially now since she's injured. Right now the gang are in a van they took form the mesa pharmaceutical,doc and Murphy in the front talking nonsense,warren in the back sometimes changing the subject or interjecting. Cassandra was leaned up against 10k's chest due to the small space in the van,she's asleep shivering uncontrollably no matter what 10k does. He covered her with blankets and hugged her but she shivered.

"Doc not now" warren said to stop doc form scaring Murphy about the lab there currently heading to. 10k shifting a little to get more comfortable accidentally woke up Cassandra.

"I'm sorry,i didn't mean to wake you up" 10k whispered and Cassandra nodded coughing at the end,10k moved her hair and patted her back. Everyone stopped talking and looked back at the two individuals with sympathy.

"You both should take a nap" warren said cuz they both look sick,10k hasn't sleep in days because he's taking care of Cassandra,and Cassandra just couldn't sleep with the fever she had. Nodding Cassandra closed her eyes again leaning back on 10k as he closed he's eyes hugging her.

(10k's point of view)

I was just falling asleep till warren woke me and Cassandra up.

"10k,Cassandra wake up. We have to walk form here,don't want to alert the z" warren said shaking mine and Cassandra's shoulder. Blinking my eyes a couple of times i yawned and helped warren get Cassandra out of the van. Putting her arm around me i walked "10k! Let us get Cassandra so you can rest a little bit"

"Yeah kid,warren's got her" doc said to me as warren took Cassandra away. I wanted to say no and keep her next to me but i did need the rest, I sighed and walked.

"Kid be careful there a steep slope" doc said and i nodded but i slipped and rolled down the hill to hit some rock and water. I groaned feeling major pain in my left abdomen.

"10k are you ok!?" i heard everyone scream to me,nodding i looked at my stomach to see a green pointed metal stake half way in my body and blood coming out and going in to the water.

"10k we're coming to get you" Cassandra said and i freaked out and shouted with all the energy i could.

"No it's steep and slippery! I'll just fine another way up and find y'all! Just go" i screamed rolling over and getting up grabbing a stick and used it as a cane "I'll be fine"

"Ok. Do you need something?" Warren asked and i thought for a second.

"Yeah i need an old shirt or something you don't use,or mind not having any more....... And something to keep the sun out of my eyes" i groaned feeling weak already.

"Here's my sweater" Cassandra said throwing her grey sweater to me and doc's old hat.

"10k were going to leave a trail so just look around" warren said while doc and Murphy started walking away.

"10k be careful!" Cassandra screamed and i nodded,cutting the sleeves form her sweater i tied them together with the impossible knot my pa showed me and wrapped it around my bleeding torso and stake,and put on doc's hat.

"This is gonna be a hell of a climb" i said to myself looking at a steep hill with no water coming down. Putting Cassandra's remaining jacket between my belt i climbed up screaming and groaning,grabbing branches to pull myself up. It took me about half and hour to get up there "finally"

Moans filled my ears and i went to grab my rifle only to find out i don't have it "my gun? Where's my gun?" looking around i could only think of one thing "the river,you got to be kidding me" more moans filled my ears and i saw two z. One grabbed me and i tried to fight back but we both fell down the hill,the z hitting it's head breaking it,while i landed on my leg.crawling to where i first fell i started splashing around trying to find my gun
"come on,come on!" i screamed as moans got louder i looked back once and awhile.

(Cassandra's point of view)

"How are you feeling Cassandra?" doc asked me and i threw up as a response,this walks been beating the living shit out of me.

"Cassandra do you want us to take you back to the van?" warren asked and Murphy got mad.

"No! We came here for dr.merch and we're not leaving till i get my hands on that bitch!" he yelled looking at us and you can tell by he's eyes he wasn't going back.

"Murphy chill. I'll take Cassandra back and you and warren can continue going" doc offered and Murphy didn't say anything so doc grabbed my arm.

"Wait! Here's my gun,ten rounds just in case of a z..... And I've been saving a special one since New York,i want you to have" warren said giving me an extra bullet if i wanted to end this.

"Thank you" i said weakly and me and doc started heading back to the van while he talked about food. When we got back to the van i was ready to end this.

"Don't worry darling,we'll find antibiotics and have you feeling your old self in no time" doc said trying to give me hope but it didn't work,i know my time is running out. Doc left to catch up with warren and Murphy while i looked at the gun in my hands. Taking off the safety and making sure to load the gun i pointed it at my head,taking deep breaths and closing my eyes like 10k showed me when he taught me to use one.

"I'm regretting showing you how to use one" i heard 10k's breaking voice threw my ears, opening my eyes i saw 10k and i wanted to faint. 10k was all covered in blood,dirt and was dripping wet,a stake threw he's abdomen and scratches all over him.

"What happened to you?" i asked as he limped over to me using a stick as a cane. He didn't answer me but snatch the gun out of my hands and threw it "10k!"

"You can't die Cassandra. You just can't" he said grabbing my shoulders and placing he's forehead on mine "you can't leave me" putting my hands on he's shoulders i pulled back a little bit to see he's wound.

"You have to take it out" i said grabbing it in my hands ready to yank it out. He moved my hands and got in with me laying down.

"Ok,just be gentle" 10k said and i grabbed it with one hand and squeezed he's wound together with my other my hand,i slowly pulled it out till it was completely out "that feels better"

I hit he's chest playfully and kiss he's cheek laying my head on he's.

"I hate you. You scared me to death coming in looking like a z"

"Cassandra you scared me,i come back form a hell of a climb and fight to see the girl i love about to blow her brains out" 10k said obviously not thinking because he looked away blushing,i pushed myself up and kissed him again but on the lips this time.
