z nation: 10k and Cassandra one shots

I meet this team of seven.... Well eight including me. In this group we have Garnett the leader,he's about three inches taller than me and last time i checked i was about 5'5 but i feel like I've gotten short so i don't know,he has dark brown hair and same color short bread,a grey shirt under a blue shirt that has so many sweat stains with blood,brownish pants with Brown belt and black shoes.
Warren is Garnett's girlfriend even though they act all weird together and they denied every time we ask, she's about that same height as him,she always has her brown jacket on and purple shirt,grey pants with her brown belt carrying her sword on her left waist so she can easily grab it,she had brown boots.
Next is doc who isn't really a doctor, we just call him that cuz he watched a bunch of E.R. he is the oldest of us all with white hair and bread and moustache,to be honest he looks like a skinny version of Santa clause,he has white pants,black boots he wears a black short sleeve shirt with a no sleeve jacket,he's the only one that i know can get stoned in the apocalypse, he really got stoned in a air shaft with a zombie.
Addy and mack are together,addy is the same height as me with red hair and black shirt with camouflage short sleeve jacket and black sleeve connected,blue jeans and black boots. Mack is one inche taller than addy with what looks like dirty blond hair that might just be blond with dirt in it,he has a red shirt with light grey-blue jacket and blue jeans with black shoes.
Murphy is the package that we need to take to California because he's the only human known to survive a zombie bite,he has kinda long black hair with a beard with some white,he wears blue shirt with an ugly brown jacket and brown jeans,did i mention he can be a pain in the ass.
Lastly there is 10k,he's kinda a mystery with the fact he barely talks to anyone,and counts how many zombies he kills. The only reason he talks is to warn us about zs or when he told us he's name. He has jet black hair with aqua eyes,he was slim and taller than me,he was wearing black and white camouflage shirt with upper body armor,tan cargo pants black combat boots. I don't know why but i feel like he's always watching me,when i sleep,eat, or walk. Maybe he is because he's really over protective or since i am the only single girl here i really don't know

"Cassandra are you ok?" 10k asked me snapping me out of my thoughts and i looked over at him. Warren was driving with Garnett in the passengers seat,addy seating on Mack's laps next to doc and murphy so me and 10k are left in the truck bed.

"I am,just thinking" i answered and he nodded continuing to look at me making me uncomfortable "10k why are you staring at me?" i asked and he look down covering he's red face

"Nothing just...... Never mind" 10k said scratching the back of he's neck and i thought more about 10k,mostly how he saved me more than once since we meet and how nervous he gets around me,to be honest it's cute in a very dorky way. As i continued to think about him i heard a screeching noise and the truck started shaking,i immediately went to grab the sides of the truck but i was to late,the truck did a super hard right turn and unfortunately since i didn't grab on i went to where 10k's side hitting my head "cassandra!" was the last thing i heard before i was out cold

After warren did that hard right turn cassandra came to my side flying hitting her head on the rim of the truck

"Cassandra!" i yelled grabbing her in my arms examining her head,there was blood coming out of her forehead and i couldn't see how bad the cut was "doc! Cassandra got hurt! Help her!" i screamed and the truck stopped to let doc get out,he jumped in the back and was trying to take cassandra out of my arms but i didn't let him

"Kid you need to let go off her" doc said once again trying to take her

"No! Just help her!" i yelled and everyone looked at me and i would of blushed but i didn't and just looked at cassandra in my arms. Doc knowing i won't let Cassandra go sighed and grabbed a rag whipping her bleeding forehead but everytime he did more came out. I was getting worried that she'll bleed to death in my arms,that's the last thing i want to happen. Doc started digging threw he's bag till he pulled out some liquid that I'm sure is alcohol,he put the rag to the bottle and poured some,when he had a sufficient amount he whipped Cassandra's still bleeding forehead and she let out a terrible scream "stop your hurting her!"

"I'm sorry kid but i have to" doc said calmly and i could hear moans

"Puppies and kittens!" Warren screamed and murphy immediately went inside the car "10k don't you want to go kill them to add to your count?"

"No,I'm going to stay with cassandra"

"10k you sure?" addy asked and she hit a z with her zs whack

"I'm sure,i want to be with cassandra" i said and Garnett nodded and they started shooting while addy swung

"You must really like her,don't you kid?" doc asked looking at me then back at cassandra

"I.....i.....i do" i said slowly rubbing her back as he put the bottle back in he's bag and i looked at her forehead since it stopped bleeding. Half of her forehead was cut so deep that i can see her skull,i wanted to throw up at the sight put i kept it down and swallowed really hard. She wiggled a little and doc told me to hold her still since he's going to stitch her forehead so i wrap my my right arm around her shoulder and my left around her torso

"Kid i need you to hold down her feet" so i wrapped my legs around her legs and she was still moving but not as much,doc got out a needle and thread form he's bag and pinched her skin together "ok cassandra this is going to hurt but I'll go fast"

"She....she can....hear us?" i asked nervously cuz if she can she'll know i like her

"I don't maybe,maybe not" doc said and that really didn't help me. Doc started form the left side of the cut working he's way to the right and every time the needle went threw her skin cassandra screamed moving even more till it came out "done,all i can do was stop the bleeding and stitch her...... But i don't know if she'll live,she hit her head really hard"

"You did what you could doc,we'll just have to wait and see" Garnett said patting my shoulder and murphy just had to say something

"She's a freaking cannibal for god sakes,it won't matter if she's alive or dead she already tasted flesh" murphy said and i quickly and carefully put cassandra down and i grabbed him by he's shirt

"Don't you dare talk about her like that or so help me I'll blow out your brains right here right now!" i yelled and i felt doc grab my shoulders trying to pull me back

"10k he's a pain to all of us but you can't kill him we need to take him to California" warren said and i sighed

"You better be happy there a window between us" i said and let him go returning to Cassandra's side. Everyone got back inside but this time Garnett was driving,i put cassandra back in my arms still looking at her,examining every detail i could

"Thank you 10k" Cassandra said when i was about to fall asleep because it's late,it's probably 3 in the morning in and we've been up since 1 in the morning.

"For what?" i asked looking at her with a smile on my face just knowing she's ok

"You always there for me,no matter what and i wanted to thank you" cassandra said slowly getting up and i helped her. After that neither of us said a word and just sat there peacefully,cassandra was seating in front of me,are eyes locked on each other but my eyes flickered between her eyes and lips and i could see cassandra doing the same,i closed my eyes slowly leaning in till are lips meet and it wasn't rough but passionate,they way are lips moved in perfect sinc made crave more but i didn't want to add force. After 5 minutes we separate to catch are breath,we were both painting but smiling
