Violet's Point Of View

"Are you serious?"

"Yes Reagan, as serious as a heart attack,"

"How is that possible?"

"She obviously was getting intimate with someone else,"

Calum came home at twelve o'clock this morning, with the girls all asleep. The only surprising part was that he wasn't drunk. He kept telling me that his heart hurt, not literally but figuratively. You could tell by this effect, what the test results were for his daughters.

I told him it was best that he stay home and I'll take care of everything else.

"Are you sure we're talking about the same Charlotte?"

I groaned for what seemed like the umpteenth time, and nodded. There was silence between us for a few moments before she broke the silence.

"Are you sure we're talking about the same Charlotte?"

I glared at her for asking the same question once again, and placed my face in my hands.

"I'm sorry for seeming annoying, but I can't seem to accept that such a person like Charlotte would do such a thing."

"We all thought that," I mumbled.

My cellphone rang in my bag, and Reagan's office phone rang from the desk outside. She ran out quickly, even in heels to go answer it.

Praying that it was Michael who had texted me, my chest sank when it was my brother.

luke: hey, mom would like for you to come by her house for dinner. she says it's important or something.

violet: okay lucASS :-)))))))

lucASS: let me guess, you just changed my contact name to that

violet: i knew you were always a genius

Before I put my phone back into my bag, it buzzed again. I literally cheered when I realized it was Michael.

michael: wanna hear a joke?

violet: sure?

michael: why wasn't the skeleton allowed to go to the party?

violet: because he had no body to go with

violet: what a fail lulz

michael: such an ego booster :-((((

violet: :))))))))

michael: hey can i ask you a question?

violet: you just did

michael: violet

violet: okay okay sorry go ahead

michael: would you be willing to actually meet up in person or something?
