Capítulo 2 - "heroic's barracks"

"Well, what are we going to do there at the Barracks Mrs...?" Lavagirl asks
"Nice to meet you kids, I'm Lavander, and this is Davis!" Lavander responds "You will live together with the Children of the Heroics in a building exclusively for you! Generally, in the rooms the children stay with their parents but since you don't have parents with super powers...We can leave a room for each of you. "
"And sleep away from my friend? Never! Get a common room, like we're a family, and the two of us sleep there!" Sharkboy argues
"What about me? Am I not your friend?" Max asks.
"You are too, except Lava is my childhood best friend! But you can sleep with us."
"Then I'm in!" Max gets excited.
"Alright Sharkboy, we will arrange a master suite for you, Lavagirl and Max" Lavander smiles
Moments later, Davis' phone rings:
°Call ON°
"So Davis...Where are Sharkboy, Lavagirl and Max?" A female voice says with a fierce tone.
"We're with them in the car Miss Granada." Davis responds.
"Are they listening?"
"Yes ma'am, do you wish to speak to them?"
"Definitely put it on speaker!" Granada orders "Hello Sharkboy, Lavagirl and Max. You were chosen to live in the Heroes' Barracks. Davis and Lavander must have already explained where you stayed, right?"
"Yes Miss Granada" Lavagirl states
"Well, when you get here I will introduce you to the rest of the members and explain the rules, finally, you will be free to explore the barracks and the suites. Understand children?"
"Yes Miss Granada" They respond together.
°In the Barracks°
After 1 hour the car had finally stopped. Finally... We're here! We grabbed our backpacks and got out of the car.
"Hello children, welcome to the Heroic Barracks" Granada welcomes us.
"Thank you Miss Granada" I respond politely.
"Please follow me!" She says already entering the barracks
The Barracks was huge, our tour never ended!
"These are the meeting rooms, where we summon the Heroes for certain threats."
"Is this a barracks or a Palace?" Max asks.
"That's huge!" Sharkboy I concluded.
"We're just at the beginning of our tour! There's still the cafeteria, the theme park, the suites, libraries, training room and the classroom, where the children of the Heroics are" Granada smiles.
After almost an hour, our tour was coming to an end, all that was left was the suites and classroom. "Well, let's go to the suites first, so you can get comfortable and leave your belongings to meet the heroic kids" Granada takes a few more steps and arrives at a door "Well, this is your suite, suite 15, it's big enough to house three pre-teens with different powers...It's the biggest one we have "
"Thanks Granada!" Sharkboy says
"Thanks...The biggest bed is mine!" Max screams and runs away.
Sharkboy catches up with him with his super shark speed and holds him back "Calm down Guri! The biggest bed belongs to the only lady on the team!"
"Please Sharkboy"
"What part of my speech did you not understand? Are you trying to get punched to unclog your ears?"
"Are you rude by nature or have you taken some kind of course?" Max asks.
"Let's just say I was the best in the class" He pokes Max "Come on Max, stop being so lazy friend, come! Your bed is huge too!"
Granada soon entered with me, "Well guys, I'm going to give you a little time to settle in and decide on the division of the suite. It's 1:30 pm, I'll wait for you downstairs at 2:30 pm. Oh, I was almost forgetting... .Sharkboy, your father, James, left a suitcase with all of your clothes and belongings." She hands over each person's suitcase. "Even children" Granada turns and leaves.
"Well, let's see the house first" I say letting go of my pink hair.
We soon began to explore the huge suite, the first room was the living room, it was very spacious and made entirely of glass with a wonderful view; then we have 2 also large bathrooms down here. "Where's the kitchen in this house?" Shark asks
"Granada said that we don't have a kitchen because the meals will be served in the cafeteria with the Heroic children" I reply
"Damn Lava, where was I when she said that?" Shark responds
"Where were we! I didn't hear anything either!" Max comments.
"Well...Maybe you were too busy fighting over the bigger bed." I respond with irony.
"So...that's right" Shark says.
"Come on guys, the house isn't finished yet" I say walking up the stairs. Upstairs there was an entire floor just for the bedroom, which in turn is made up of three box beds, wardrobe, closet, 3 bathrooms, desk, 4 chests of drawers and 3 hammocks made from mattresses. The door was right at the end of the stairs.
"Hey guys, what time is it?" Sharkboy asks
"Well, it's 1:45 pm" I reply.
"What do you think we get some sleep?"
"It's not a bad idea...But my bed still doesn't have a mattress! Granada said they would put a new mattress in" I point to the bed "But I can sleep on the sofa!" I say, getting a blanket and some pillows to put on the couch. However, I feel a hand hold me.
"No Lava, we can share the net!" Sharkboy smiles.
"Thanks friend" I grab my things and we get ready to get some sleep. As we slept, little by little I got closer to him, and within a few minutes we were sleeping hugging each other.
°14:25° POV'S Narrator
Granada was already at the door of the suite. She knocked a few times, but it seemed like no one was there. Granada has all the keys, so he took the one to suite 15 and opened the door. With light steps she looked for the children downstairs, but there was no one there. Climbing the stairs to the second floor, Granada soon opens the door and finds one of the cutest scenes in the world: Sharkboy and Lavagirl sleeping cuddled up on the hammock. Despite the cuteness, Granada needed
wake them up. She pokes them gently. "Good Morning Shakboy and Lavagirl"
"Hi...What...When...What time is it?" Sharkboy gets up
"It's 2:30 pm sharp" She laughs.
"Sorry Granada, the day was very busy and tiring" Lavagirl gets up and blinks a few times trying to get used to the light.
"It's okay Lavagirl, I was your age"
Max suddenly chokes on his own saliva, wakes up scared and falls off the bed.
"Good morning Max..." Granada laughs "I'll give you a few more minutes so you can change your clothes, it's cold outside, and you should take your computers." Granada leaves and leaves the trio at ease again.
"Let's change quickly, each of us putting on a sweatshirt and jeans." Lava says, already putting on her hoodie over her long-sleeved blouse. In 7 minutes everyone was ready. Lava took her backpack, put a Bluetooth headset, a hairbrush, her cell phone and the computer inside. And soon after, Sharkboy and Max prepare their backpacks as well.
"Come on guys, I don't want to be late!" Max screams and runs out of the suite "Calm down kid! Wait!" Sharkboy screams and shoots a jet of water, causing Max to slip and hit his face on the ground. "Well done! Are you calmed down kid?" Sharkboy laughs
"You're hopeless, right Shark?" Lavagirl smiles "Let's take advantage of the elevator being on this floor, because going down the stairs is not a good alternative" Lavagirl enters the elevator with Max and Sharkboy
