A normal day... are you really sure?

{3 months later}
It's been 3 months since we've been in this five-star house as the boys say. Shark gave me a female Spitz, although several names went through my mind, including my favorite name, Porsha, I ended up using the name Aurora. Today was a normal day, we had slept at Anitta's house from yesterday to today. The clock had woken up, it was 5:43 am, time to get up to get ready for training. Sharkboy approaches me and gives me a peck on my lips. "Good morning love" He smiles
"Good morning" I returned the smile.
I arrange Aurora in my bed, put her blanket on, I take my shower, and get ready for the day. I go downstairs ready with Shark, and we sit down for coffee with the other Heroics. "Good morning guys!" We 2 talk together
"Good morning !" Everybody says.
"Good morning Best!" Vox says hugging me as soon as I sit next to him "How did my best sleep?"
"Very well best, I practically died and was reborn...I was really very tired"
"I really noticed it during training last week" Anitta refers to the day I fell asleep at the picnic table during training
"I really don't know what happened to you my love" Sharkboy kisses my forehead..
"Our morning will be free today! Enjoy it!"
We all leave and go to the backyard, taking steps towards the "Unknown", without a pre-defined destination. Everything was fine, until the danger signal sounded and we heard Anitta's voice on speakers throughout the house:
"Heroics, This is not training! A threat is approaching in the South Central region of the city, please report to the scene immediately...I repeat, this is not training!"
"Come Lava!" Me, Sharkboy and all the heroic people quickly go to Anitta's house to change.
As I go to put on my armor, Sharkboy's icy hands stop me. "Lava, I think it's better for you to stay here"
"I'm not staying here! I'm a hero too!"
"Lava, you were very tired, you were stressed enough with your work. You will be safe with Anitta, inside the house"
"But I'm not disabled! It's just another fight!" I try to convince him
"Love, you need to rest... Remember yesterday you fainted during training? I was very worried about you, not only me but also all the heroics and Anitta" He answers me
"Until the Phenomenon?" I smiled
"Even the Phenomenon"
"Alright, you win...But just this once!" I pat you on the shoulder
"I really need to go...I'll be back soon my love" He kisses me on the lips
"Tell Anitta that I'm going to take a shower and I'm up here!" I scream and go into the bathroom, already taking off my clothes.
"You can leave my love!"
°30 minutes later°
You know, I think Shark is right, I stress a lot every day about my work. I don't think relaxing at home during a fight will make any difference. I was combing my hair when Anitta came in. "Hi dear, how are you my love?" She runs her hand through my hair
"I'm fine Anitta, just a little tired" I reply
"Do you want anything? You haven't eaten anything since yesterday"
"My stomach is a little upset, probably nothing will come in" I say with my hand on my stomach
"If you feel anything strange, just tell me" Anitta places a kiss on my cheek
"Thank you Anita"
"I'm in the kitchen, if you need me, call me!" Anitta says leaving my room.
°POV'S narrator°
Lavagirl was combing her flaming hair when Escura heard Aurora barking. Arriving close to the puppy, he bent down and picked her up, trying to calm her down... It must have been the smell of the cleaning products used by Anitta that had left him like that. He opened the door, you could see that Anitta had cleaned her training area. Taking the first steps towards her bedroom window, she was stopped by large hands that grabbed her from behind. A strong-smelling cloth was placed over his mouth and nose, and Lava was unable to scream. In shock, he released Aurora and only heard the noise when she fell to the ground. Lavagirl tried every way to free herself. But her attacker was very strong and caught her off guard. Inhaling that smell she realized that she started to get weak, her vision started to blur and then everything went black. I was dizzy, I felt a bitter taste in my mouth. Everything was spinning, he blinked once, but his vision was still blurry. Blinking several times, some shapes began to appear in front of him. It was dark, a cold light
it entered through a small window above her. With this little light, he found himself in a small cell. The floor was made of wood and thick iron bars locked her inside, only a bucket kept her company. Closing his eyes tightly, he tried to put his thoughts in order. She took a deep breath through her nose, she felt sick. The strong smell was still lingering in his nostrils. He coughed a little, his throat was dry. He realized that thick fireproof chains were holding his wrists up to a spot on the wall. She was sitting on a musty rug, trying to balance herself to stand up. Did you realize how difficult that had been, what did they do to her? Shaking his head to get his hair out of his face, he felt the blood rush to his hands again as he finally managed to stand, his body swaying from side to side. Leaning on the wall to stay balanced, she noticed that the movement continued. It wasn't her dizziness, it was waves hitting the hull of the boat. It was bad, she thought to herself, it meant being isolated. Even if he managed to get out of the cell he would have nowhere to go. He breathed once more, his nausea was strong, the shaking wasn't getting any better. Who had kidnapped? How long had she been unconscious? I knew it was already night or early morning, the sun hadn't yet risen. Was that the same night she was kidnapped or did she sleep a whole day? What did they want with her? His thoughts went to the Heroics and Anitta. Did they already know what had happened? What would Sharkboy's reaction have been like? They were already worried about the simple fact of having passed out, imagine what they were like now? She thought about all the Heroics, and especially about Sharkboy starting to get nervous about what was to come. Calm down Lavagirl thought to herself. I didn't hear any noise. No footsteps or voices, he tried to free himself from the chains, but they were tied too tightly. His wrists had red marks, he knew they would become beautiful.
bruises. He tried to accommodate himself as best he could on the floor.
°Meanwhile°
"Sharkboy! Sharkboy!" Phenomenon runs to him
"Yes Phenomenon?" He answers
"The cameras at Anitta's house captured some men approaching a few hours ago!!" He stops and breathes trying to calm down
"Wait a minute...I can't believe it, how stupid I am! It was a plan to get us out of the house, and I left Lava behind for them!" Phenomenon saw the terror in the shark boy's eyes. Had he understood something, was it a trap? Sharkboy ran away as fast as he could. No, no, no! How could he have been so stupid? It was so obvious. He passed everyone else without paying attention, he felt his heart beating hard in his chest. Asshole! Of course Lavagirl would never have listened to him, she would have gone to help in the fight and should have realized it sooner! Please don't let it be too late. "Anitta, where's Lavagirl!" The desperation was clear in his voice
"Did something happen Sharkboy? I was down here the whole time!"
"It was a trap! The fight, the time, leaving Lava at home..." He explains running and starting to climb the hill to Anitta's house. His breathing stopped when he saw the door ajar, he increased his pace and managed to see that a small volume of fur was lying on the floor a few meters from the door of the house.
"Oh no! Aurora!" He got close to the puppy, she wasn't very well, she had a broken leg and was unconscious. Near her, a fabric with an arabesque texture was torn on the floor, it looked like the little one had been brave and bit something. Sharkboy took the rag and put it in his pocket. He left Aurora where she was and went into the house expecting the worst. He shouted at home. Silence answered him. The house was intact, as if nothing had happened, he began searching every room. He couldn't find any sign of his wife, he noticed that she had taken off her nightgown, throwing it in a corner of the room, some clothes were missing.
"Lavagirl!!!"
He went downstairs shouting for his wife, but nothing answered him. He returned to pick up Aurora feeling his heart empty. I couldn't believe what was happening. Was he doomed to lose everyone he loved? He held the little dog in his arms, trying to see if he could wake her up. He saw that Phenomenon had followed him, he was with
Vox, Max and Marcos. Sharkboy couldn't take it anymore and knelt on the ground, pressing the small furry body to his chest and felt thick tears run down his cheek. I had to think of something. They couldn't be too far away. She could still be alive. If they wanted to kill her they would have found the body, right? They wouldn't have to do all this work if it was just for that reason. They wanted information, but what did they want with him now? Sharkboy knew he had collected a lot of enemies over the past 7 years. It must be a personal vendetta, he thought. Angrily wiping away his tears, he was enraged. He saw that the other heroics were standing still, waiting for his reaction. He got up, walking determinedly and handed Aurora to Invisi-girl
"Help him, I need to take action" Sharkboy ordered seriously.
The others realized what had happened, they didn't need words, the look in his eyes said it all. "You three, go get the others and meet me in the Hall in a few minutes, and you're coming with me Max" He received a nod in response from them. Marching towards a house on his right he took a deep breath, he would have to break the news to Anitta
"Sharkboy? What happened honey?" She asks when she sees tears on his face.
"The Lava-" He is interrupted by his tears
"Oh my love, I promise I will help you, we are in this together!" She hugs him and Max joins.
