Victor took a break from his personal socials while he continued to explore Paris. He went to Chris's skate with Yuuri, cheering him on and smiling wildly when Minako got to crown him with a wreath of roses. He gave her a bow and continued around the rink and blew Victor a kiss. There were more skaters to watch, Georgie included and Victor watched him skate his routine with a different flavour.

He had taken Victor's words to heart and moved with a different mood, he had even changed his make up, the dirty blue had been switched to blacks and purples. His liner winged out damn near to his temple with long lashes painted black. Purple coloured lid and lips in a shine of toxic romance that Georgie finally seemed to be letting go. He moved across the ice with a new conviction and Chris whistled low when Georgie took his finishing pose. Victor could hear Yakov cheering as his oldest skater made for the kiss and cry, collapsing with a panted breath.

"Come on Georgie," Victor said softly and there was a silence in their little corner as the points popped up. Georgie whooped as he came up sitting first on the short, laughing as he hugged Yakov, smiling as the old coach just nodded in approval.

"Amazing," Chris chuckled. "We know I peek in the free skate though, so we'll see if he can keep up."

"I think he'll do just fine," Victor chuckled and headed to meet with Georgie and Yakov, Yuuri close behind him. "Georgie!"

"Victor!" The other man opened his arms and let the blond hug him, "I saw the article, are you two alright?"

"Yeah, nothing we can't handle," Victor said, smiling when Yuuri came up beside him, sliding his hand in his.

"Good, I don't want any more trouble," Yakov said as he appeared behind his skater, "Katsuki, I want to talk with you."

"Yes sir," Yuuri said and left Victor's side to follow the old man, leaving Victor and Georgie to chat, Chris slipping in with them a moment later. Victor peeked around Chris to see Yuuri and Yakov deep in conversation, Yuuri nodding and talking with his hands. Yakov seemed much calmer and unbothered so it was possible that this conversation had nothing to do with Victor and everything to do with young Yura.

"Earth to Victor!" Chris laughed as his friend jumped, "I'm sure Yakov won't eat your boyfriend."

"I just need to be sure," Victor laughed as Georgie snorted, "What did I miss?"

"I asked if you wanted to join us for dinner," Georgie asked, "I'm sure you can step away from Yuuri for a night."

"Sure, we have plans for after the competition, you should join us Georgie," Victor smiled, "I like this happier you."

"I owe you that," Georgie said, "I'll ask coach Yakov, by the looks of things he might want to chat with you anyways. That blogger had no right to push into your personal life."

"Oh, we don't think it was a blogger," Victor sighed, "But we have Mari on her heels. We're not hurt, just annoyed that we couldn't go at our own pace, you know?"

"Oh please, you two have been eyeing one another for months," Chris said with a grin.

"Yes, but our relationship is our business, we shouldn't have to come out publicly until we wanted to. We just made it official, we didn't even know we were dating until that night," Victor sighed, "I don't mind the attention but Yuuri does. You see this beautiful version of him online, and on the runway and at work but when he's just Yuuri? He's an anxious mess, he just is, no reason other than that. He's a soft heart and all of this is bothering him more than he wants to admit and I don't know what to do."

"Poor boy," Chris said, his tone taking on a more serious note, "Don't worry, Victor, we'll do what we can to help."

"Thank you," Victor said softly and looked up as Yakov called for Georgie, "See you later."
