[Open on the Owl House living room, where Luz is standing on the couch and is reading The Good Witch Azura to King]

Luz: "Azura," Hecate began. "Our paths have crossed only in battle, but today, I stand before you seeking an ally." [Sighs dreamily]

Izuku: [Is sitting next to Luz] What's wrong, Luz?

King: Yeah, you're getting all swoony again.

Luz: I can't help it. Azura is able to befriend everyone. Even her biggest rival. I wish I had that kind of power.

King: Rivals are meant to be annihilated, not befriended.

Izuku: King's right, Luz. Rivals are meant to be a challenge for you to make you stronger.

[Cut to Luz placing down a basket on the table in the kitchen]

Izuku: Eda, you got a package.

Luz: Yeah, it looks like a gift basket.

Eda: Probably an offering. Ah, being the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles has it's perks.

[King pulls down the covering of the basket, revealing a baby]

King: [Rubs his hands together] Mmmm...fresh meat

Izuku: Ew.

Luz: [Walks away] Nope, not eating that.

Eda: Witches eating babies is so 1693. What is this?

Izuku: Hey, there's a note.

King: Yeah. [Grabs the note] "Take care of my child 'til morning. Yi Yi."?

Eda: Nope, babies are awful. [Crosses her arms] Not happening.

King: [Continues to read the note] "You will be handsomely rewarded. XOXOXOX.....the Bat Queen"

Eda: Bat Queen?

[King shuffles around the basket before pulling out 3 Snails]

Eda: [Looks at the coins with a wide smile] Reward?

[Luz walks back to where they are]

Luz and Izuku: Who's the Bat Queen?

Eda: She's the wealthiest demon on the Boiling Isles, getting with her and you'll be set for life. So, [gestures to the baby] we keep this thing alive for a few hours and we get paid? [Flips the gold coin] Pfft, easy.
