Kris's heart was racing as they walked into the 5S class. They had been planning on saying what needed to be said, but now that the moment was finally here, they felt their knees shaking and their palms sweating.

Still, they forced themselves to walk up to Alexis and look her in the eye. They opened their mouth to speak, but the words felt stuck in their throat. After what felt like an eternity, Kris finally managed to choke out the words.

"I hate you Alexis! I don't want to date you anymore I want to break up."

It felt like the room had fallen completely silent as everyone turned to look at Kris and Alexis. The moment hung in the air like a dark cloud, and Kris realized they had just made a huge mistake.

As they turned to leave the class, they heard Musa's voice calling after them.

"Bro if u really miss Alexis why did u break up with Alexis bro? And now ur crying for attention?"

The words felt like a punch in the gut to Kris. They couldn't bear the thought of being accused of crying for attention. They rushed out of the building, tears streaming down their face, and ran as fast as they could home.

Later that night, Kris sat alone in their room, feeling completely lost and alone. They missed Alexis more than they ever thought possible, and they regretted the breakup more than anything. They cried themselves to sleep, praying that they could somehow find a way to fix things with Alexis.
Kris sat at their desk in the 5S classroom, trying to focus on the task at hand. But it was no use. Their mind just kept wandering back to Alexis, the love of their life. They couldn't believe it was all over now, that they had thrown away something so precious.

Suddenly, the door burst open and Arch rushed in. He was out of breath, his eyes wide with excitement. When he saw Kris sitting at their desk, his face fell.

"Oh, Kris," Arch said, his voice soft. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen."

It was like a knife through Kris's heart. They couldn't believe what they were hearing.

"What do you mean?" Kris asked, their voice shaking. "What are you talking about?"

Arch took a deep breath and said, "Alexis and I... we're together now. We've been dating for a while."

It was like the ground had fallen out from under Kris's feet. They felt like they were sinking, sinking into a dark black emptiness.

"No," Kris said, their voice barely above a whisper. "It can't be..."

But it was too late. Arch and Alexis were already a couple. And Kris had lost the love of their life, forever.
Kris stood alone in the corner of the room, watching as everyone else danced and celebrated, happy that Arch finally had a girlfriend. They couldn't believe how quickly everyone had moved on from their breakup with Alexis.

It was like a punch in the gut for Kris. They still loved Alexis and couldn't bear the thought of seeing Arch and Alexis together. It was like everyone was rejoicing in their misery.

As the music kept playing, Kris felt a deep sense of loneliness wash over them. They felt like they were a stranger in the 5P dance group, like they had lost their place. They wished more than anything that they could turn back the clock, to before they had broken up with Alexis and before Arch and Alexis had become a couple.

But it was too late. The damage was done. And now Kris had to try and pick up the pieces of their life and figure out how to move on without Alexis.
