This week is really peaceful. I am happy - way beyond happy. My marks are above the passing number. Edolf and I are doing online study sessions. He is really kind to help me this much. I should treat him to lunch someday. But I would need Red's permission. And I know he would say no.
These days he is always glaring or staring at me. I feel cautious around him - I don’t want to make him angry.
I am even avoiding my family. I spent all the time in my room - I don’t even attend the dinner table. They are only concerned if I am still in Red's good book. That's all that matters. I didn’t have the courage to ask anyone what happened that day. All I saw was Dad's hand bound in a cast and Mom's red swollen eyes. In my heart I knew.
A knock broke my trance. I saw it was my brother, Trance. "You wanted something, T?" i asked "Come downstairs. Family meeting." Saying this he went out of the room. I sighed. I used to be really close to him. He always treated me like a princess. But one day made me a villain in his life.
Sighing for another time, I went to the garden area. I saw everyone is already there.
My father looked pissed at the sight of me. Mom is not looking at me - It's more like she despises me now. Jina just shifted in her seat. I just stood at the corner with my head low.
"Everyone is here, so I will straight come to the point" Dad started. "Damon called me today" he exhaled a large amount of air "the Kuznetsov family wants Jina's hand in marriage for Red" I looked wide eyed - my mind isn’t working. What Red? I looked around. They don't look much shocked. This only meant only one thing - they have discussed it before.
"What!" I stated "It is as you heard. Nothing difficult" My father said like it is a casual conversation. "But father" My father stopped me with his eyes, "It is already decided"
Feeling dumb I looked at Jina, She is looking like she is ok with this. "Jina how can you agree to this!" "Listen Roze. No one will say no to Red Kuznetsov. I know you have feelings for him. But they choose me" She said in a duh tone - like it’s a competition. "Jina are you listening to yourself. He is a playboy. He has angerissues. How can you be ok with this?" She sighed loud, "Listen don't be a jealous bitch. He likes me of course" I kneeled in front of her, "You are my sister. I will be thrilled to attend your wedding. But to a good man. You have so many good options. You are beautiful, you are talented. Why are you wasting your life?" i was shouting at this point.
"Rozze" it was my mother this time. "You were always so jealous of your sister. She has the beauty that's why she got the chance. So be happy and stop being a headache" I looked in disbelief at my mother. "Mother. Please, her life will be destroyed" i was pleading. "Listen we don’t want your advice. We just informed you - just don’t be a hindrance at the wedding. Try to stay away from Red as much as possible. This is my last words"
"Roze, if this wedding gets cancelled because of you, i will personally attend you. Remember that. That’s my last warning" my father dismissed the conversation. They left the place - i tried to convince Jina but she was in her own dreamland.
I was now sobbing in my own room. I know Red perfectly. He won't leave me this easily. What should I do? I can't see my sister to destroy her life. I called Saher, asked about the wedding. He confirmed it was true and Red has given positive response. It struck me - like a thunder.
I slept weeping. I have to do something. But what can I do? I can't even take a decision for my own life. How will I save my sister - who doesn’t want to be saved.
I am in the classroom, most days Red doesn’t attend. So i can spend the who day without giving a much thought about him. I didn’t answer his calls yesterday. He must be furious.
Teacher got startled with a loud bang in the door - Red burged angrily and stepped towards me. He stood before me : he was fuming. "Why didn’t you answer the call?" He whispered. The teacher and other students resumed as before. "I was sleeping" He slapped me in front of the whole class - but no one even payed attention.
They were scarred of him. I just sobbed. "Where is your phone?" With shaky hands I handed over my cell to him. He threw it in the near wall - breaking it into pieces. He took my backhair - extending my neck, he kissed me in the lips. I tried to remove myself, but he was really strong. After destroying my lips and my reputation in front of everyone he left me. I could only cry at my fate. No one helped - not even the teachers.
Now we are in the cafeteria. I am sitting on his lap - his nose dipped in my neck. He was digging holes in my skin with his nose. I just sat - afraid of another slap. Maze brought our food. But I wasn’t in the mood of eating.
Red took the food in his spoon and started feeding me. I saw my sister with her friends coming towards us. I shivered, tried to be out of here. But he didn’t let me.
"Red, how are you?" Jina asked in her extra sugary voice. He just nodded. "I was thinking we can go for the dress shopping today" "After school it can be possible" Maze answered instead of him "Ok" she chirped and waving bye she just left us alone. She totally ignored me.
"Is it for the wedding?" I asked He just starred. He kissed me again - not wanting to answer.
"Tomorrow night is the engagement" It was Saher who answered this time. Maze punched his hand. "What! He should know. It's his sister's engagement party. And also it’s in their mansion" I tried to look at Saher to ask more but Red kissed me more deeply. Now it makes sense. I saw a few of the decorations. A tear escaped - a frustrating tear.

I got perfectly ready. Tonight is the engagement. Father warned me again this morning, not to mess up.
I went to the backside of the mansion - where the whole function is taking place. Mother forbade me to be there the whole time. I was permitted only in the ring ceremony.
I saw both the bride and groom - looking awesome. The rings looked quite expensive. I was called for family photo. And my mother ushered me to my room immediately.
I didn’t even want to attend. I have to be prepared. I won't take risk. My school has only three months left. I will be out from here after that.
Suddenly my door opened - revealing Red fuming and looking like shit. A strong smell of alcohol was coming from him. He didn’t let me even ask what he was doing here. He just locked his lip with mine. The whole is here. His engagement party is still going downstairs. But he is here - kissing the shit out of me.
