Last Time On Dragon Ball Reborn, The sparring between the two fighters Son Y/n and the alternate timeline Future Trunks ultimately ended in Y/n's favor, not on raw power but rather on sheer adaptability and flexibility against the overwhelming force of Future Trunk's immense base power. But right now what will be his next task, or his first mission?

After a few days of sparring in a new time chamber where they can't age regardless of how many years they spent, Y/n and Trunks train their hardest to be prepared for the future, which they spent on 6 years worth of insane training and breaking their limits but also Y/n learn new abilities that will surely aid the battle against the forces of evil who wishes to destroy or manipulate timelines.

Right now, they are on the Time nest where they are being accompanied by none other than the Supreme Kai Chronoa herself to discuss a new threat that they see on a malicious purple-ish scroll that houses a single event of every major point in history that can make a long-lasting impact if it changed or interfere by time breakers or demon clan.

Y/n: Do you think what I am thinking?

Trunks (Xeno/Time Patroller): Yeah this is bad! And that year is...

Chronoa *Shocked*: Age 762! This year is when your brother fought against the tyrannical ruler of the Universe Frieza and this is where he first transformed into a Super Saiyan.

Y/n: I heard that in stories from Gohan and King Kai where he also spared him in the end. But your alternate version ends him right?

Trunks (Xeno/Time Patroller): Yes... But right now Frieza is stronger and that energy is the same one where Majin Buu got corrupted by Towa! But... It's different!

 Chronoa: Yeah... Plus in the middle, there is a corrupted Dragon Ball that somehow makes him more powerful than Goku! That's why I'll be entrusted to you Son Y/n to take care of Frieza! 

Y/n: Should I kill him? Or-

Chronoa: Don't kill him, but make sure he's weakened and remove the corrupted dragon balls to make sure the history is still the same.

Y/n: But what about the minor changes? Like sequences of events, and you can edit it, right?

Chronoa: I can but you have to do that you have to do! And the history depends on us, and go! 

As Son Y/n grabs the scroll that contains the history and events of the Frieza Saga, especially where Goku and Frieza fight on a collapsing almost on the brink of destruction, Namek that only five minutes until the planet explodes into the space dust.

The scroll glows as slowly transports Y/n to the Frieza Saga, he proudly smiles and waves his hand to show how optimistic he is even in times of grave danger across timelines. Showing that he matured way back then at the attack of Majin Buu on Earth.

Chronoa: Come back safe! Y/n...

Y/n: Don't worry! I can do this and trust me! I will come back! 

As he already disappeared, the bluish vortex transports him instantly to the time when his brother fought against the Space Emperor Frieza. This is the monumental time when the Saiyans were avenged by a Saiyan warrior raised from Earth none other than Son Goku.
