24. Synchronization

3rd Person POV.
Location: the grand combat Arena Alpha Major

Y/n is finishing up his preparation he has decided that the three powers he will use are warriors Ace, upgrade, and finally polarity Warriors Ace would give him an edge in combat skill upgrade would allow him not only the ability to become more of a combat veteran but it would also allow polarity to be much stronger so that if he lost his weapon he could quickly recall the weapon back to his hand but unfortunately he did not know how the weapon worked and he still could not get it to activate right now Y/n was holding The Tempest trying to figure out how it worked.

Y/n: how the hell does this thing work?! It's supposed to be a sort of weapon but I don't understand how it's supposed to be a sword and if it's supposed to be an arrow then where's the bow that I can launch it I just don't understand.

Samuel: it's quite simple really to use the Tempest to its fullest degree you must not just believe in yourself but you must believe in the weapon in conjuncture with believing in yourself once you have perfectly synchronized with the weapon you will then unlock its true power and be able to use it to its fullest degree.

Y/n: but how do I do that?

Samuel: simple you must synchronize the wavelength of your soul with that of the weapon you see the weapon itself has a soul of its own and once you synchronize your soul wavelength with it the two of you will be in perfect harmony with each other and you will be able to use the weapon as you see fit.

Y/n: okay that leaves more questions than answers but I'll figure it out I guess.

Y/n held at the weapon in his hands staring at his own reflection through the shiny surface of the weapon for the briefest of seconds he could have sworn he saw the face of his first ancestor in the shiny surface of the blade but he quickly rubbed his eyes looked back into the shiny surface of the Tempest and realized that that must have been an illusion created by his stressed out mind.

Y/n: great now I'm seeing things.

Samuel: Y/n it's time we must go!

Y/n: ok let's do it!

Y/n stands up from his seat and he makes his way to the arena where his opponent is patiently waiting for him.

Rosé Knight: are you ready Y/n L/n?

Y/n: as ready as I'll ever be.

Y/n held his useless weapon in his hand still trying to figure out how it worked meanwhile the Rosé Knight pulled out his sword his sword was that of a single-edged technologically advanced blade that was outfitted with Sonic technology allowing it to vibrate at such a frequency that it could cut through just about anything it was one of a kind and it was powered by a very unique power Crystal that was said to give it unlimited power and it was good for eternity.

The Rosé Knight gave his blade an expert twirl and flourish he then assumed a sword fighting stance and got ready to battle the young prince of The Intergalactic Empire who has yet to be coronated.
