Author's Note: At the end of her SWAT career, Officer Chris Alonso reserves the best memory for Luca. It's the fortune from her fortune cookie, back when he took her out to eat her first week in SWAT. Remember the scene in the ambulance, after he risked his life to stop the attack on the ship? Well, she finds him alone and delivers that small piece of paper that she kept for so many years. They reminisce but don't really tell what truly happened in the past, so...read on to find out!

For weeks the media had been covering stories about rumors spreading across several social media, urging the youth to stand against the new policy to increase minimum age for alcohol consumption and sales, proposed by several members of the city council. Besides the new regulations on alcohol, other laws were to be discussed that had been the center of public criticism for months. Officials were expecting high number of protestors and marches. Everyone knew the official hearing was not going to be warmly received. So, for the annual meeting between all parties was to be held, police and other units made sure to have a plan for maximum security  during the event.

Therefore, on this beautiful Saturday morning, instead of enjoying their day off, Twenty Squad led the security personnel in the East Wing of the building complex. Other SWAT units, half of LAPD, federal Marshalls and many more, also participated in securing the entire perimeter. Helicopters, ambulances and fire units were also activated to provide an all around security blanket.

"Line up!" Sergeant Spivey called, as his men followed suit.

TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP

Some of the officers turned to the youngster of the group, as she stumbled to make her way to them. Many of the others in uniform stared at her, frowning in annoyance. It was bad enough they had to work overtime, let alone had to deal with a rookie...and on top of that, a woman!

Sergeant Spivey frowned at her, showing his disappointment and annoyance at the same time. The fact that they had to wait three seconds for her to line up was frustrating, to say the least.

"Hurry up, Alonso!" the annoyed leader called loudly.

"Yes, sir" responded the young officer.

Sigh. I hate my life, she thought frustrated. She struggled to move with the weight of the extended ram, while the rest got to carry hand held devices.

They had received orders of a possible breach by a gang of local business owners who seek vengeance against the politicians. Intel said that they were hiding in a nearby building, waiting for the members to gather in the room, then shoot some type of explosive from another site. After further investigation, the threat was narrowed down to two possible sites. Sergeant Buck and his squad were instructed to inspect one of the buildings, while another group took the broke down site in the opposite side.

With all the weight of the tool and a pair of tired shoulders -especially after intense training and workouts for six straight days- newly appointed Officer Chris Alonso moved as quickly as she could to the front of the line.

"Go!" the eager sergeant called.

She positioned herself a few feet from the door, swung as hard as she could and...BAAANG!

An hour later...

WWWEEEEE OOOOHHHHH

WWWEEEEEEEE OOOOOHHHHH

"Great job, guys!" Commander Hicks and the leading superintendent said in unison.
