A crack was heard outside just as Draco was showing Harry how much batter he needed to put in the pan for the 'perfect' pancake.

Loud knocks were heard from the door and Harry knew exactly who it was.

"I'll get it." Pansy said since she wasn't doing anything and got up to open the door.

"Who's here?" Draco asked, his hand going on Harry's, leading it to pour a bit more mix into the pan.

"Hermione." Harry said, "She sometimes comes an hour before we go to work to make sure I'm awake."

He set the bowl down, looking at Draco and they both looked over at the door when Pansy opened it to reveal, in fact, the bushy haired girl.

Harry heard them exchange greetings and he watched as Hermione's face contorted with confusion when she got a whiff of the air as she walked over to Harry.

Harry smiled at Hermione and gave her a little wave as she looked between Harry and Draco in the being used kitchen in shock.

"Morning-" Harry was cut off by Hermione giving him an unexpected hug, her arms going around his neck to lower him down a bit.

"You and I are going to have another discussion at work." she whispered to him and then let go, holding him by the shoulders and looking him in the eye with a serious look but a small smile on her lips.

Harry nodded, not knowing if it was a good thing or a bad thing but he really hoped it was a good thing because there's nothing Hermione would be mad about if Harry was eating food.

Hermione peeked over his shoulder to see Draco cutting some strawberries while a pancake sizzled in the pan and looked back at Harry.

"Where did all this stuff come from?" she asked, raising her eyebrow at him questioningly.

Harry opened his mouth to tell her but another voice answered, "Blondie got it for him."

Hermione turned around and Harry looked past her when Pansy, who was sitting on the armchair like usual, spoke.

"No offense, Granger, but you suck at whispering." she said, pursing her lips and giving Hermione a grave look like it was an important life skill to have.

Hermione's face went a bit pink in embarrassment and she whipped back around to face Harry, she was never insecure about her whispering skills but maybe she had to work on them.

"Draco got this for you?" Hermione asked, just slightly not believing he would do that for Harry.

Harry suppressed a smile and nodded, "When?" she asked more quietly, wondering when the hell Harry could fill his kitchen that quickly.

"This morning." came Draco's voice from behind Harry and they turned to look at him who looked back.

They stared at him for a moment before he spoke, "You really are terrible at whispering." he said agreeing with Pansy's statement.

Hermione narrowed her eyes and she was going to say something back but Draco looked over at Harry, something in his eyes changed which made Hermione's eyes go back to normal in thought.

"Your pancake is going to burn if you don't flip it, you know." he said, crossing his arms.

"Oh! Right.'' Harry said, remembering the small, edible responsibility.

He quickly closed the distance between him and the stove, grabbing the spatula and attempting to flip the pancake.

Hermione watched him, glancing over at Draco who was right beside Harry to make sure he didn't burn/hurt himself.
