Y/n's POV

I hopped in my car, zoning out for a while and reminisce about Mina's sudden change of behavior. She wasn't like that before she entered the pawnshop. Something must've happened that triggered her.

For instance... failure.

Mina failed to perform her aerial loop last night. She mentioned that failure wasn't allowed. This must mean that lady in the shop have said something mean to her...

I sighed, grabbing the stirring wheel. Then, I noticed a bag on the passenger's seat where Mina was seated on. This must be her belongings. I was going to check what's inside but that would mean invading her privacy.

I turned the small TV on to contact my most trusted subordinate.

"It's me, Sana. Can you locate where I am now?"

"Yes, my lord. Do you want me to call some troops over there? Is it an emergency?" She asked.

"Don't bother. I just need to give you a task. Please come to my location now this instant."

For a moments later Sana have arrived, she was dressed in an all black suit, raven short haired with a wisteria tattoo on her left hand and two moth tattoo with two dotted marks that looked like she's bitten by a vampire on her neck. It seemed rather obvious that she's part of the Yakuza clan, but Sana is actually my trusted family. We've been together since we were children

"This bag?" Sana blinked.

"It belonged to a girl named Mina. She was actually in my car just a minute ago, but she left," I told her.

Sana exclaimed. "My lord?! You were with a girl? And Mina too? The circus lady?"

"It just happened. I want you to return this stuffs to her. You know where she lives, right? You've got some knacks of stalking people," I told her.

"Yes, but why can't you give it yourself?"

I paused for a while, "I've got other business to do at the circus with Mr. Hare."

"Oh, that's why you met Mina by coincidence. Okay, my lord. I'll give this to her... but why'd she left you? Did you do something that turns her off?" I have no idea why Sana is so invested to the story between me and Mina.

"Not really, I don't think so. I showed her my money and bought her a ring she wanted. Apparently, the pawnshop doesn't want her to purchase their item. I know, it's toxic if you ask me." I explained.

"Eww, so toxic." Sana's face were disgusted.

I stared at Sana, a question stuck in my head as I was hesitant. "Have you watched Mina last night? Yesterday was your day off,"

"Yeah, I'm a big fan. I was there," She answers excitingly.

"How was she? Do you have any idea why she had an accident?" I asked.

"Hmmm..." Sana is currently in deep thought. Great, because this usually takes three hours for her to figure out what she's going to say. But I've practiced patience with Sana before, I tend to shout at her for playing around with me until I realized that it was just her personality that I cannot control.

"Mina was perfect. She was elegant. To be truthful, I've watched every shows she's on. They were all flawless, however, I think last night was a bit different..." Sana mumbles.

"What makes you think of that?"

"Well, Mina always looked confident when she's on stage. She knows exactly what she is doing. It's just that... she was kind of nervous yesterday. Someone significant must've come to watch her show and I felt that she might've felt... this pressure," Sana tells.

That must be so tough on her.

"Poor Mina, she doesn't deserve any of this. I wished I can give her a hug," Sana mutters.

"You can if you meet her," I encourage her. "I shall be going now. I'll meet you later at the temple. I have to sort a meeting with Chan about the case of my Dad." I went to my car.

"Yes, my lord. Please drive safely," Sana tells.

But as soon as I grab the door open, she continues. "My lord,"

I looked at her, listening. "I don't believe in God, but I see her as a Goddess. You'll know what I mean when you see her performance." She smiles and disappears right off the bat to do the task I had assigned her.

I paused momentarily to think. Sana's words weren't questionable, without a doubt.

I already knew what Sana meant even without knowing how she performs.

I saw a glimpse of that when we were together earlier.
