Y/n's POV

"My lord, Mr. Hare has gained his consciousness. He's ready for interrogation but... he seems really terrified with the torture devices," My trusted subordinate, other than Sana reminds me, his name is Bang Chan. He was also wearing an entire black suit, sunglasses hang on his neckline and tattooless, unlike Sana, he appears to be a good guy working as a bodyguard on a high level CEO, but he's actually working and loyal to me.

"He will give answers without those, there's no need for any torture," I answered him.

Mr. Hare, he was the guy we threatened him to tell us where my Dad is. It took him three fingers to finally decide to talk that he used to raise me when I was five years old.

"He's hungry, my lord." Chan says.

"Give him food and water," I tell and Chan responds immediately, rushing outside to buy fastfood take outs and water.

I entered the room where he was locked in, my associates opened the door for me and close it for privacy. "Did any of the staff find this room?"

"No, my lord. We ensured they didn't enter this room." They respond.

"Is that you, Y/n?" Mr. Hare said, his voice was hoarse, its asking for a water. I walked closer to him and seats on a chair opposite him.

"Mr. Hare, food and water is on the way and we will expect you to cooperate with us until we get an information from you," I say.

"I.. told you that I don't know where your Dad went. It's the truth," He confesses. "You will gain nothing from me even if you torture me,"

"In that case..." I gave him a death stare and throw him photos on the desk as a proof that they were seen talking together. "What did you two talk about in this picture?"

"That's-" It wasn't something easy for him to say. He might be threatened to keep silent about it, still, what they talked about didn't matter. I just want to face my Dad again and questioned his sudden disappearance. "P-please give me water,"

Someone knocked on the door and the two associates reacted quickly, "It's me, my lord. I brought food and water," It was Chan.

Mr. Hare was eating like a dog, he's chewing constsntly as we watch him eat.

Why did Dad come to this circus when he knows nothing about this sort of thing? He should be focused on our rival, Akizuki clan. If so, then he must he acting something from the shadows, but for what purpose is he going to deal with it alone? He couldn't even tell his daughter about it?

"PLEASE TRAIN ME AGAIN, RINGMASTER!" We heard a soft scream, female voice begging on her knees.

"Who's that?" Chan blinked.

"I want to try again..! I want to be perfect again! Please train me again, ringmaster! I won't fail this time! I won't disappoint the people anymore!!" It was Mina, who's eyes were drenched with tears and trembling in anxieties.

"It's Mina...?" Chan mumbled and we made our way out of the room to witness the ruckus on the stage.

"We've already replaced you, Mina. You can stop begging for your position, I've fired you already. Well, unlike this woman, she's more incredible, elegant, and perfect than you. So don't waste your breath anymore," The ringmaster harshly said.

"No way... why?! It's just a once mistake! How could you replace me so easily! It's just one fucking mistake! This... This is not fair! Have you ever asked me why I made a mistake?! Why I fell down? Why did I make a stupid mistake?! What I have to go through in the hospital? Why, ringmaster?! I thought you know me better than anyone else!" Mina cries, her tears were flowing in frustration. Her voice prays for help and anyone who would understand her.

The ringmaster sighed heavily before coming up with a word, "You're not needed anymore, Mina. I can't train a failure like you,"

Another failure word.

This was the end of Mina.

Her hope, her aspitations, her future, it was all crashed right before her eyes. At this point, there's no knowing what Mina will do after all these treatments to her.

What's going on? Degrading her over one mistake? That's cruel. Even a person with a crime thinks this is all wrong for her. Mina deserves more than this.

"I feel bad for Mina," Strangely enough, my family members didn't think that she was a failure or a disgrace girl.

Is there a meaning behind this?

"My lord!" Sana ran to my directions. "Please hit me, I'm so close to beating that guy to pulp! He's hurting my Mina!"

"Just beat yourself," Chan suggests.

"I can't, that's self harm! Ah." Sana was in a state of realizing something. Whenever this happens, this mean Sana's instincts are always right.

"What is it?"

"I watched the ringmaster earlier in his office a while ago. He was sort of looking at the portray of her daughter and Mina. It looked like he was comparing the two of them, until I didn't realize he was feeling some sort of regret... and he's mumbling something I can't hear." Sana tells.

And here I thought Mina went home... where was she before this?
