That mission really shook sakura to the core.
It was just the feeling of death so close.... Again.... She remembered her last death. She remembered how it felt..... When the chidori pierced through her chest.
It took her a full 10 days to recover and get back to school.
Now she's pretty much like before. Smiling happy and carefree. Today as jiraiya was on a mission, Neji was the one who came to drop her off.
Yes, he came from all the way from Kyoto to Tokyo to check on her.
" I am not going to any missions for atleast next two weeks. "
Sakura said and Neji sighed.
"What ever you want. Just don't go dieing on me and I am okay with it."
Sakura gave him a beaming smile, wrapping both her arms around him
"Awww..... Of course not Neji-kun. Your so worried about me. Your the best best friend ever!"
Neji rolled his eyes at her but did smile fondly at her.
As he was about to leave, they hugged and sakura kissed him on the cheek
"Sakura-chan! Are you cheating on me?"
Gojo yelled Out of nowhere!
Both of their heads snapped back to Gojo and they grunted!
This is gonna be annoying.
"What are you saying, you giraffe! He just came to drop me off. And I told you before, he's like a brother to me. So if you disrespect him once more, I will kick you ass!"
Sakura yelled
Neji sighed again
He really didn't want to get a headache now. He has a long train drive to Kyoto. So, he did the best thing he could do
" Sakura, I am leaving. It's almost time for my train. Take care of yourself and I will call you at the evening."
Sakura nodded and waved as he took off.
But before she could turn around, a set of arms wrapped around her waist from her back.
"Are you feeling okay now? You didn't come to school and didn't pick up any calls for more than a week. I missed you"
Sakura sighed, leaning into him a little more,
" I had kind of a traumatic experience, which led me to a few mental problems. Now I am completely fine. I wasn't that hurt on the first place because of my seal, it was just the trauma. I am fine now."
He didn't say anything. They stayed there for a good 5 minutes before sakura said
"Senpai, I told you I am okay. We are Infront of the school gate. Let me go now ."
She only felt the arms around her tighten. She sighed
"Senpai, please. Someone can see us like this."
"Let them see, I don't mind. Your my Hime after all."
She sighed again
"I can't stand here all day. I have to get these bags to my dorm, senpai."
Now she felt the arms around her loosen before he finally let go.
She looked back at him, he wasn't wearing his usual black sunglasses
"Where's your glasses? And aren't you supposed to be somewhere important like a mission or something."
Gojo grinned at her
