Two and a half years later

Nowadays sakura's life is quite peaceful. all of the first years were first grade now.

Haibara and Nanami were 18 years old and sakura was 17 almost 18

Today she got a letter from the higher ups. Telling her that she won't be going on any special grade mission. It was weird but not something abnormal.

So she just brushed it off. Just then Haibara came into her room.

"Sakura-chan, we don't have any missions today, I will take mistuki-chan out. What do you think I should give her? It's our 3 month anniversary."

He said it all in one go

Sakura chuckled, Yuu could always make her smile, even when he wasn't trying.

"I don't know surely but you can give her some blush and lipstick. She's obsessed with it. She told me yesterday. She gave me some screenshots of the ones she wants. I will send them forward to you."

His eyes instantly lit up

"You are a life saver, sakura-chan! Send them to me. I'll be going out now. "

She chuckled as she watched him run out of her room.

Now she's that she's alone. She couldn't help but think about the people, her loved ones, from her past life

She thinks about kakashi, if he's still always late or not, she thinks about Naruto, if he's a hokage now. She thinks about her parents and shisuo. What is happening to them? how are they? Do they miss her like she does?

It's not that she isn't happy in her life, on the contrary, she is really happy. She is surrounded by people who care for her. She has family, loyal friends, good job and so on

She's really grateful for everything. but you know what they say, a person is always attached to their roots.

She kept thinking, she didn't notice she was staring into space. That antil a pale hand tucked a strand of hair behind her ears.

As she looked up, she was met by a very familiar azure blue eyes.

He looked down at her and smiled

"You think too much, princess. If you keep thinking so much you'll get grey hair."

She rolled her eyes

"If have pink hair, senpai. I'll never get grey hair. Maybe my hair color would lighten when I will get older but not grey"

She said with a huff. But he just chuckled at her.

lifting her up from the couch, he took her to her bed. laying her down, he joined her. Tightly hugging and cuddling with Sakura. He was Nuzzling his face on her neck, leaving them gentle kisses

"I missed you, princess. You don't even know how much I miss you when I go to these stupid missions"

She sighed, it's been only two days since she last saw him and now he's already acting like this. Taking her fingers, she gently combed through his snow coloured hair.

"I know you miss me senpai. I miss you too. But I'm just glad you always come back to me safe and sound."

He buried his face even depper in her imbrace. Taking her scent deeply. She always smells like home to him. Like cherry blossoms.

"You don't have any missions today?"

"No I don't. Plus the higher ups sent me a letter today. It said I won't be going in any solo spacial grade missions. Only with my team. Did you have anything to do with it?"
