Chapter 4

Author's Note: 700+ reads?!? Holy crap! So in the film Vivian had a boyfriend. I was so hoping her and Lowery would get together but no, she had to have a boyfriend. Well I'm putting Vivian and Lowery together because I ship it. So I'd like to give a shout out to two of my friends who have given a lot of support with this story! In the beginning I was iffy about it but they gave me some pretty cool ideas and lots of positive support so thank you! Enjoy!

"Vivian, what's happening with the triceratops?" I demanded, my eyes glancing over the monitor.

"We got ACU out there and she's going to be moved."

"Moved? She doesn't need to be moved."

"Just temporarily."

"Okay, I'm going down there to see what's going on." I put a Bluetooth speaker in my ear and I left. 

It didn't take me that much time to get to the valley. I passed the Gyrosphere waiting line and it seemed that all of the people were angry. I guess I can't really blame them. I would be too if I was waiting in line for an hour or more. I walked around the line and to the back and I got in one of the cars parked in the park. I started it and then drove down to where ACU was.

"She tried to leave. Why?" One of the guys asked his coworker. I scanned my eyes over his uniform for his name badge, his name was Lee.

"I don't know." was his partners response. I walked over to the triceratops and looked at her. Her stomach rose and fell short and rapidly as her breaths were sharp. It didn't take a genius to figure out that something had frightened her. 

"She got scared." I stated, looking up at the two men. 

"How the hell would you know that?" Lee asked, raising an eyebrow at me. 

"I studied animal behaviors in college, hence my job. Just like you got your degree or whatever in shooting guns. Plus it doesn't take a genius to figure out that she was clearly spooked by something the crossed her path because just like humans, after we get scared, our breathing becomes short and rapid until we have a chance to calm down and our heart rate lowers. " I smiled and then walked over to where I could get a glimpse of the entire valley. All the other animals seemed to be fine, they were causally going about, walking through the valley. 

"Well," I said walking back. "there's nothing in here that possibly could have spooked her and made her try to leave."

"We'll return her once everything is good." Lee's partner informed me. 

"Thanks," I then left and told the guy at the control pad that it was okay to start up the ride again, but just to have the west side of the valley closed down. After that little fiasco I drove back down to the raptor cage. As I pulled up I noticed that there wasn't anyone here. I left Owen's bike, which I still had and also which I should probably return later, and climbed the stairs up to the raptor cage. Silence filled the air, it was peaceful. Just to pass some time away I watched the raptors roam around in their cage. Occasionally glancing up at me and roaring softly. 

"How do you get them to listen to you?"

Startled I turned to see Michael standing there.

"Don't do that again." I said and I looked back down at the raptors.

"It's all about respect,  not control. Watch. Charlie, Echo, Delta, Blue," I called all their names and they came and stood there looking at me.

"How? I try but they don't listen."

"It's because your fresh meat. It took them a while to get used to me."

"Okay you guys can go," I waved my hand to signal to the raptors they could leave and they scattered off.
