Chapter 11

Author's Note: *IMPORTANT*
So sadly this story is coming to an end. There will be about two more chapters before it's over and then I am going to put up a sequel. I will update it everyday just like I have been doing with this one. Except I don't know what to do for the title, any good ideas? Also there is a little something in this chapter that I think a lot of you have been waiting for... hehehe ;) Enjoy!

I rubbed my ankle as Charlie left returning to his new alpha. Charlie had managed to tear through my jeans and leave some bite marks on my ankle bone. Blood dripped down but it wasn't anything completely serious.

I got up with slight pain and I looked around me. I was lost. Sighing I began walking in the direction I though I was dragged from. Right now I wish I had a jacket or something because I slightly cold. I felt as if tiny insects were crawling all over my arms. Just the thought made me shutter.

I continued walking hoping to see something that looked familiar but it was difficult because it was dark.

"Nicole!" I heard someone call my name and I turned only to see tall trees, grass and the darkness surrounding me. Maybe it was just a figment of my imagination. I shrugged it off and continued walking.

"Nicole!" There it was again. This time I made my way closer to the voice.

"Nicole where are you?" The voice was really close now that I could tell who's it belonged to. Owen.

"Owen!" I shouted his name and ran in the direction of his voice. My ankle really hurt now but I did the best I could to ignore the pain.

"Nicole!" I heard Owen's voice once again and I continued to run. My hair now fell out of its sloppy ponytail that I had it in earlier allowing my hair to fall down my shoulders and back.
I then ran into something. I looked up to see that I ran into Owen.

"Owen," I whispered his name and I wrapped my arms around him.
Thankful that I wasn't alone anymore.

"Are you okay?" He asked brushing hair from face and tucking it behind my ear.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for coming." I lied about being fine. Partially lied. We just stood there staring at each other for a while before Owen leaned in and pressed his lips to mine. I was taken by surprise, slightly. I then wrapped my arms around his neck and stood slightly on my toes so I would equal his height better.

"We should get going. We still have a dinosaur to track down and kill." I say breaking away from him.

"Right," he said and we then began walking back. We didn't say one word to each other until we got back to where our bikes still were.

"Let's go," I nodded and then got on my bike and followed Owen out of the jungle and onto the road. We drove down and eventually came up to a truck and it was being chased by two raptors. I looked and saw in the back that Gray and Zach were in there and I watched as Zach threw something at one causing him to fall. The other Zach shocked with some electric spear.

"Oh my god did you see that?" I heard him say and I giggled.

"Nicole, come up behind me." Owen said and I did. He told Claire something and he drove ahead of her and I followed. Eventually we ended up in the center of the main park.

There was no one there now. Only shards of broken glass from abandon shops and restaurants occupied the streets.

"We need to get to the lab." Claire said and I nodded in agreement with her. Owen, Gray, Zach, Claire and I ran into the Samsung Innovation Center and headed down to lab.

"Everything is gone. They evacuated everyone." Claire said as we stepped inside to see the lab completely deserted. We all walked into a separate room away from the lab and in it were a bunch of creatures in glass tanks. Gray tapped on one of the glasses that contained a chameleon. I looked at all the other animals in the tanks and realize that these were all used to help create the Indominus Rex.

"Well well. Look who we have here."
Vic then came walking into the room.

"You son of a bitch." I growled and he laughed. Owen stood in front of Claire, Gray, Zach and I.

"That isn't a real dinosaur isn't it?" He asked and pointed at the computer screen which had a image of the Indominus Rex.

"No. It's not." And he smirked. Then out of no where Echo came into the room. I saw the look of panic on Claire face and we all watched as he closed in on Vic, pressing him up against the wall.

"Hey, hey." Vic said as Echo closed in on him. He was going for the kill. Vic had his arm outstretched which was a wrong move to do. Echo bit it and Vic yelled out in pain. Then right before our eyes was murdered. His blood splattered everywhere and I felt like throwing up. It was a disgusting sight but I was glad he was dead.

"Let's go!" Owen shouted said and we all ran out of the room and out of the lab.

"This way!" Claire shouted as Gray and Zach almost ran in the wrong direction and then things got a bit more complicated as Echo came and followed us out.

We all made it out of the building only to see the Indominous Rex emerge from the bushes. And to make it even better Charlie, Echo and Delta came and surrounded us making us unable to escape.
