Today's show feels like a lie

Today's show feels like a lie. I'm playing Slane Castle, and as I step on stage to do the sound check I'm in disbelief.

Mitch and Sarah come up behind me "Insane right!" exclaims Sarah, Mitch pats me in the back and thanks me. I give him a nod and we get in position to start.

I'm sitting on the sideline watching Mitch and Sarah playing. They're opening for me tonight. And the pride that I feel in my chest is insane. They've been a steady part of my life, and I couldn't be more happy to have them in my life.

I'm backstage warming up to go in, and I'm so damn nervous. Pauli looks me in the eye and starts jumping and I start jumping with him. When I look around all the crowd is jumping and cheering! I couldn't have done this without them!

"Styles, you are on in 5" I take a deep breath and head to the stage.

As 'daydreaming' starts to play I'm running to the stage and all the nervous feeling is put aside and I'm in ecstasy with what's in front of me. The crowd doesn't seem to end.

Holy shit!

'Grapejuice' is playing and as I say the lyrics 'I was on my way to buy some flowers for you' the fans throw flowers at me, it has become a 'tradition'.

And it's the first time that I see her tonight. She's laughing at all the flowers. And I laugh at her. As I take her in I don't fail to notice hair color, she's ginger. At the Paris concert it looked like she had changed it but I couldn't take a better look. But now with all the lights shining she looks gorgeous, the color suits like it's her original color.

I grab a bouquet and throw one of the flowers at her. She catches smiles and presses her nose at the flower saying thank you.

At the end of the concert she has the flower tucked in her ear. She looks out of a movie.

I do the whale and wave goodbye, not really wanting the night to end.

As I get to the hotel room I receive the file with the photos of today's show that Loyd sent me.

As I scroll through them, I'm caught by surprise when there's a photo of her with the flower pressed to her nose and a smile on her face.

I saved that photo. You can barely see her face and this describes our 'relationship' so well, two strangers that know nothing about each other other than what they look like.

I lay in bed as sleep consumes me. I have a smile on my face!

She is so close but yet so far away.

I just want to be loved! Is that so much to ask?
