I woke up around 4 in the morning. The same as always. Pete was still asleep, but whatever. I woke him up anyway. I shook his  arm somewhat violently.

"What?" He groaned.

"Wake the fuck up."

"It's like, 4 in the morning!"

"I can't get back to sleep."

"Okay. But don't get mad at me if I fall asleep again."

I smiled and sat up, along with Pete.

"We should get back to the hotel." I suggested.

"At 4 in the morning? No." Pete grumbled, rubbing his eyes.

"Oh, by the way," I said, ignoring his disapproval.

"My clothes are wet." I pouted.

Pete slid out of bed and turned on the light, blinking to get used to it. He went over to his dresser and threw a over sized shirt and a pair of boxers at me.

"Uhm, thanks?" I got up and dressed myself, then gathered up my pants and shirt from the floor and placed them on the nightstand. While I was moving my clothes, Pete dressed himself in a pair of blue jeans and a red shirt.

"What time did you get to sleep?" Pete asked,

"About an hour after you."

"Really? I'm  sorry."

"Not your fault."

Pete nodded and walked to the other side of the bed, picking his phone off of his bed stand.

"Oh, I missed a call from Ash." He mumbled.

"Ashlee?" I asked.

"Ex wife."

"Ah." I nodded.

Pete shushed me, then brought his phone up to his ear.

"Hey, Ash. Sorry I missed your call. What's up?"

"Oh, okay. I'm actually here right now."

"Wonderful. See you in a bit." Pete finished and tossed his phone on the bed.

"Hey, Ash is coming down and bringing Bronx here. She has to go to her mom's for a bit and can't take him with her for some reason." Pete said quickly.

"Oh, cool! How old is he?" I asked, curious.

"6. He's still pretty young."

"Ah I love little kids!" I squeaked.

I paused for a moment.

"Why would Ashlee be up at 4 in the morning, and why is she bringing Bronx here so early?"

"Probably because she has to make it to the airport in time to get to her parent's?" Pete asked himself out loud.

"So she's already in Chicago?" I asked.

"Apparently the writer of this is pretty stupid and didn't think, and now doesn't want to go back and change anything."

"Makes sense. Kind of." I giggled a bit.
