Around 7 in the morning, Ashlee came by with Bronx. Pete and I were outside on the patio. We've been there since 4:30. We knew that Ashlee had dropped off Bronx because we could hear Pete's mom greet her. Pete stood up and opened the sliding glass door, walking to the kitchen.

"Daddy!" Bronx yelled as soon as he saw him, running towards him and hugging him.

"Oh, Pete, I didn't know you were here." His mother said, I guess greeting him.

"Yeah, I came over last night." Pete smiled.

"I guess that explains it." His mother laughed.

"Okay, so, I'll see you guys when I come pick B up." Ashlee said to Pete's mom.

She nodded.

Pete waved and said "Be safe."

"I'll try!" Ashlee called out as she walked out the door.

I decided to walk into the kitchen, next to Pete.

"Oh, hello." Pete's mom greeted me.

"Hi." I smiled.

"Mom, this is Skylar. Pat's kid - sister." Pete said, wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me closer,

"Oh, nice to meet you!" His mom smiled.

Bronx looked up at me.

"Hi." He said shyly.

"Hi." I smiled down at him. He giggled and hid his face in Pete's leg.

"Pete, your dad and I are going to town for a while. Do you mind being alone?" His mom asked.

"Yeah, I'll be fine.. Don't worry." Pete smiled and hugged his mom as she grabbed her purse and walked out the door. I'm assuming her husband was in the car already.

"Come on, Buddy." Pete said, picking Bronx up and carrying him into the living room, I followed.

Pete set Bronx on the couch and sat down next to him. I sat next to Pete, and Pete turned on the TV.

"So, Bronx, this is Skylar." Pete smiled at Bronx and introduced me. I leaned forward and smiled, waving.

"Hi." He waved at me again.

I leaned into Pete and whispered "He's so adorable, but what are we going to do when we have to go back to the hotel?"

"Oh my God, I completely forgot." Pete's eyes widened, and he sat up.

"Hey, B, would you be okay if Skylar and I went outside for a minute?" Pete asked Bronx.

"Yeah, I'll be otay." Bronx said.

I couldn't help myself. I awwed when he said 'Otay.' I'm so lame.

Anyway, Pete nodded and stood up, grabbing my hand and pulling me up to guide me outside on the patio. Pete closed the door behind him and grabbed my shoulders.

"I'm freaking out right now, Sky. I can't leave Bronx here by himself, and Mom's gone." Pete said quickly.

"I'm sorry, I could stay here and you could leave. I don't have to go on the rest of the tour, but you have to." I stuttered.

"I can't just leave you alone with my son - No offense. But you don't even know him and I haven't seen him in a week maybe more." Pete sighs. "Okay. I'll call my mom, then Patrick. I'll tell mom I have to leave you here because of terrible planning, then I'll ask Pat to pack our stuff and come pick me up here." Pete huffed.

"But how am I going to get back to California?" I asked, probably making things worse.

'Fuck." Pete spat, then sat down in a lawn chair.

"I am so fucking stupid." He said, holding his head in his hands.

"Shh, no you're not. You just, We just weren't thinking. This isn't just your fault. you know." I said softly, trying to calm Pete down.

"Here, Pat can take you guys to Nevada. I can stay here while you're playing. Do you think that you guys could make a trip back down here to pick me up, then go to Arizona?" I asked, rubbing Pete's back softly.

"Yeah... I guess so. Just let me go tell Bronx." Pete sighed, standing up and walking back into the house.
