"Hey peanut, how was school?" Chan looked in the backseat as his oldest daughter got into the car. There was about nine other kids in the car as well, some of them asleep or off in another world. Mo Cha smacked her brother in the arm for something and Jin started to complain to Chan. Aria quickly quieted them.
"It was okay. Some of the boys in my class got into a fight right in front of me" Aria slipped her phone out and plugged her earphones in, drowning out the sounds of her brothers and cousins. Her phone didn't have a lot of stuff on it and was pretty well monitored by Chan so the only thing she could do, at least until she turned fourteen, was listen to music on there.
"I-what?" Chan wasn't sure if he had heard that right but Aria was already tuning him out and there was no way for him to get the full story from her now. The rest of the ride was quiet and the kids ran inside to be greeted by their dads and uncles.
"Hi princess" Minho caught his daughter when she ran to him. Jin followed, trying to hide the unmistakable, growing bruise on his arm.
"Jin, what is that?" Minho turned his attention away from his daughter to the younger of his two kids.
"It's nothing, appa" Jin put his hand behind him, hoping that Minho would leave him alone. He should have known that Lee Minho never left anyone alone, especially not one of his kids if there was the slightest chance that one of them was hurt.
"I wasn't born yesterday. Give me your hand" Minho crouched down, waiting. Jin knew that there was no way he was getting away from his dad without causing problems so he put his arm out. Minho pushed his sleeve up. Mo Cha wisely decided to take this chance to retreat to her room.
"Who did this to you?" Minho's voice dropped. He was angry now. Jin felt bad for his sister. Minho had no tolerance for one of his kids getting hurt and he did not like them fighting.
"It was my fault, appa. I promise. Don't be mad at Mo Cha, she was defending herself" Jin tried to keep most of the blame off his sister. Minho stood up, having heard enough. There was just one more thing.
"Jin, I know you. Never once have you started a fight with your sister. Please don't lie to me again" Minho scolded gently. Jin hung his head, knowing there was nothing more he could do. Minho ruffled his hair and went upstairs to talk to his older child.
"Hey, Jin-oppa! Can you help me get this open?" Hyo-Ri held out a juice box to the older boy. Jin took the juice and her hand, leading her back to the kitchen.
"Did you have a good day, Riri?" He asked her, helping his little cousin onto one of the chairs and stabbing the straw into her juice box before giving it to the younger girl.
"Mhm! I went with appa and Uncle Lixxie and Uncle Minnie to the company and they let me dance with them!" She exclaimed. Dancing with Hyunjin, Felix, Seungmin and Jeongin was one of her favorite things to do and the guys knew that which is why they brought her to the company so much. All of the kids loved being with their dads or uncles when they were working. Whether it was dancing, producing, singing or rapping, it didn't matter.
"That sounds fun. I have to go do homework but I'll play with you later. Okay?" Jin got up to leave but Hyo-Ri grabbed his sleeve. He turned back to her and she was giving him puppy eyes.
"That doesn't work on me, Riri. Why don't you go find Jae? I'm sure she'd play with you" Jin hated to leave his cousin alone but he really did need to get his homework done before bed that night. Hyo-Ri pouted but didn't argue and threw her juice out, going to find the older girl. Jae was more than happy to play with Hyo-Ri while she did her own homework, which was mostly just coloring in pages and writing her letters since she was only five.
