Aria and Jisoo watched Chan going back and forth. After the third time of them spending the night together, Chan decided that enough was enough and he called Jisoo's dad, requesting them to meet up and have a talk with their kids and make some rules, if Aria was going to keep spending time at Jisoo's apartment. Chan still found it strange that an eighteen year old has an apartment of his own, despite still living with his dad, but he supposed it wasn't too strange considering who Jisoo's family was. Despite being young, Jisoo carried himself like some rich heir. In a way he was because he was one of seven kids on his way to being a shareholder for Bighit Entertainment and one of the CEOs after his dad's and uncle's retirement. He was the middle child of three kids, having one older sister and one younger sister. His older sister was going to be the next shareholder for Bighit Entertainment but she turned it down, leaving the fortune to him and their six cousins.
"Sorry, I'm late! I had a new group to deal with" Taehyung rushed in, stopping suddenly. Chan turned and bowed his head to the older man, Taehyung doing the same.
"Hey dad" Jisoo waved, comfortably.
"Hi Mr. Kim!" Aria did the same, a little more nervous than her boyfriend. Taehyung gave his son a disappointed look.
"Jisoo, what is this? I gave you that apartment for space only. Do I really need to take it away, because I will?" Taehyung warned, sitting down. Chan stayed standing. Jisoo frowned at him but deep down, he didn't care. He didn't use the apartment much. It could hardly even be called an apartment. It was just a small one room building on his dad's property. The only time he went there was with Aria so they could be alone.
"It won't happen again, Mr. Kim. I promise" Aria interrupted, not liking seeing her boyfriend being scolded. Taehyung turned to her but he didn't get the chance to say anything.
"Like I said, Aria, what you two do when your older and married, if that happens, is your business. But until then, your here every night before one. Otherwise, you two can't see each other again" Chan repeated his words from the last time this has happened.
"You can't do that!" Jisoo argued, standing up. He towered over Chan but it was clear that his girlfriend's dad was not at all bothered or intimidated.
"Sit down, Jisoo" Taehyung gave his son a gentle push, leaving him no choice but to sit down again.
"I am inclined to agree with Chan-ah. If you two cannot be responsible, then it will be a long time before we can trust both of you again" Taehyung agreed. Chan nodded, happy that he had his hyungs support.
"However, I do not think it is fair to keep you two from seeing each other. So, how about this: you can still see each other but only during the day and you have to have either one of us or one of your uncles with you, if they are free. If none of us are free, then you can't see each other" Taehyung watched the dread spill over the kids' faces.
"Oh, kill me now. Please" Jisoo covered his face, sinking into the couch.
"We'll only meet during the day, promise! And we won't do anything weird. Give us one more chance!?" Aria pleaded.
"We've given you plenty of chances, Aera. I'm sorry" Chan shook his head. Aria slumped down in her seat.
"Say goodbye, Jisoo, and let's go. We need to have a talk at home" Taehyung waited. Jisoo gave him a pleading glance but Taehyung shook his head so Jisoo got up, squeezing Aria's hand once, bowed to Chan and then going to stand next to Taehyung.
"Thank you for having us. We'll be in touch" Taehyung put a firm hand on the back of his son's neck, guiding him out of the room.
"I hate you!" Aria got up, running upstairs to her room.
"Aria..." Chan sighed. He was trying to protect her, protect both of them, but sometimes it didn't go the way he wanted it to. Chan guessed he could live with Aria hating him, as long as she was safe and not ruining her life.
