Too young

"Please dad! We'll be extra careful" Seojin pleaded, trailing after Jeongin as the man walked around the house, doing various tasks that needed to be done.

"I said no and the answer is still no. No amount of begging is going to make me change my mind" Jeongin insisted.

"Min Jee will be there! We can even take Hyo-noona if it makes you feel better" Seojin added.

"Hey, don't drag me into this. I'm not leaving this house" Hyo-Ri raised her head, briefly looking away from her book. She had been sitting in the same position for some time, not moving even once.

"Why are you here? Don't you have your own house to be at?" Jeongin wondered. Hyo-Ri shrugged.

"Jae said to meet her here and plus your house is more fun, Uncle Innie" Hyo-Ri explained. Jeongin decided not to worry about that too much and went back to the more pressing issue.

"I do not care that Min Jee will be there, in fact her being there is only making me more inclined to not let you go. Now what your uncle Seungmin decides to do is up to him but you, young man, are not going. End of dicussion" Jeongin walked away.

"Hey, noona. Do you think any of the other older guys would be able to take me and Reji?" Seojin wondered, leaning over the arm of the chair to talk to Hyo-Ri. She put her book down, more than happy to help her little cousin.

"Well, you can't ask Moonie-oppa because he's grounded. Aera-unnie and Mo-unnie are going on a date tonight so their not available. You know Wonnie-oppa would never take you anywhere and Joon-oppa can't drive, plus he's spending the night catching up on schoolwork because he procrastinated. Me, Ae-unnie, Yu-unnie and Jae-unnie are having a girls night. Jin-oppa is escorting Sukkie-unnie to a dance because he's in trouble for skipping school" Hyo-Ri listed off.

"You are really not helping. Why don't you just go home?" Seojin huffed, standing up.

"Well, I was forgetting two but if that's the way you want it, fine!" Hyo-Ri snapped her book shut, standing up and going for the door.

"Wait, noona! I'm sorry, who were you forgetting to mention? Please, I need this" Seojin begged.

"Hae and Ye" She looked around, as if expecting Jeongin to just jump out from behind a coner or something. Seojin's face broke into a large grin and he hugged his older cousin before going to find Rejin and tell him the good news. All the houses of the Stray Kids members were within running distance of each other; none of them could bear being away from each other.

"I got it! I got--it" Seojin stopped. Rejin was sulking, arms crossed and head bowed to the ground. He turned his head a little to look at his best friend.

"Now is not a good time, Seojin. Why don't you go on home?" Seungmin instructed, though it was more of an order than a suggestion.

"Oh, okay" Seojin felt a little bad for abandoning his hyung but there was no way he was ruining this chance of going to the party that he had been looking forward to all week.

"Wait a minute, what did you have?" Seungmin stopped the maknae, putting both hands on the kid's shoulders.

"Ummm..." Seojin had no idea what to say.

"Seojin? Be honest" Seungmin added.

"It was nothing, samchon! Wrong house" Seojin hoped that was a good lie, knowing it wasn't, and turned, running away before he could get questioned any further. Rejin stormed off to his room, slamming the door. Much later that night, Seojin stood on the front porch of the Kim house, waiting. As it turns out, he hadn't needed to ask Hae-Jun or Ye-jin. Min Jee, the daughter of Jungkook, secured a ride to the party and showed up to the Yang house around eleven. Her dress was far too short and tight and Seojin found himself staring a little bit until Rejin smacked his arm.
