"Shit." Jayeon winced as her head throbbed uncontrollably. She sat up, holding her head in her hands. Her eyes were glued shut.

Once feeling better, she began to look around the room. They were certainly not on the coach that they were supposed to be on. By the looks of it, they were in a classroom. Scattered across the room, her classmates lay unconscious. Some were on the ground like her, others slumped over desks.

The first thought to cross her mind was her best friends, Jay and Jake. Luckily for Jayeon, she did not have to search for long. Close to her feet was Jake's head.

'At least he's quiet...' Jayeon snickered to herself, but this wasn't the time for snarky comments.

She got closer to him and kneeled. "Oi! Jake!" Jayeon called out to him as she slapped his cheeks gently. She'd received no reason so she took him by his shirt collars and shook him harshly.

"What...?" Jake complained, his face contorting with irritation. He began to open his eyes, "Oh, hello, beautiful -"

Jayeon then dropped his shirt collars, which resulted in him hitting his head on the floor. "Owww." He whined like a baby. He sat up about to complain some more, when something shiny caught his attention. "What's that around your neck...?" He questioned, reaching his hand out to touch the thing that caught his eye.

"What's what...?" Jayeon asked, her face contorting with confusion as she took ahold of his face to stop him from reaching any further.

"No, no, no, I'm being serious." Jake shook his head. "Look." He wriggled his hand from her grasp before yanking the metal chocker around Jayeons neck, pulling her forward.

If it wasn't for Jayeon having both hands placed on the floor, steadying herself then she would've fallen onto Jake.

"What the fuck." She unsurprisingly cursed, bringing her hands to her neck. The cold metal pricked her fingers, and with concern, she looked at her friend. "You have one, too."

"Oh, I do." Jake laughed, touching his own chocker. "Do you like my new accessory?" He asked. He smiled sweetly, fluttering his lashes as he posed.

"This isn't funny. For all we can know this could be a damn explosive." Jayeon theorised once she noticed the red light on the collar, knocking some sense back into him.

"Oh." Jake's smile dropped.

Those around began to stir, regaining their consciousness. Everyone was confused and began to rise from the floor. The pair stood up at the same time as everyone else, helping one another up.

The curtains were open, everyone was uncharacteristically silent as they rushed towards the window. Everyone squinted as a bright light flooded into the dark classroom, and the sound of helicopter propellers rang through the air.

The small aircraft landed, and then armed men proceeded to rush out either side of it. A man in a red and black tracksuit, similar to the colour of their uniforms climbed out, too.

Less than thirty seconds later, the classroom door flew open with a loud bang. Everyone flinched and turned their heads towards the door.

Men in camo jumpsuits escorted the elder man. He looked to be in his sixties, defined wrinkles and balding.

At the first sight of guns, the children scrambled to the back of the classroom. Everyone was pushed around in the chaos, and Jayeon had become separated from Jake. She stumbled as one of her classmates ran into her. She was about to hit the ground, but there to catch her, her best friend Jay.  "You okay?" He asked, whispering.

"Yes, thank you," Jayeon confirmed. She was unable to see Jake, so she held onto Jay's arm in fear of being separated from another one of her friends again.
